    Test Condition: Send a "Y" to the PCB Pass/Fail Conditions: The unit shall pass if it responds "SM" A= Beeper & LED Test O= Output voltage W= Simulation of power failure With the unit online: To calibrate Send a 1, wait four seconds then sent a 1, terminal should respond with PROG. Line: Send the unit under test the ASCII "L" command and compare response to the target value (Input value=Terminal value) Send the unit under test the ASCII "+/-" command to increase or decrease the value. Repeat sending these two commands until the target value is obtained. Pass/Fail Conditions: The unit will pass if the data from the PCB reads within +/- 1.0% of the voltage actually supplied to the PCB. Set Model Type: Test Condition: Send the unit a "b". Set model type per the following table. Use "+" and "-" to change value. Check the response from the unit. If measured float voltage in test sequence 21 is 27.4V or greater, adjust "B" response to equal the measured float voltage. If measured float voltage is less than 27.4V, set "B" response to be 27.60. Increment or decrement battery voltage calibration constant by sending "+" or a "-"to the board . Repeat until the Pass condition below is satisfied. Pass/Fail Conditions: The unit will fail if the response to the "+" or "-" command is less than HEX "E0" The unit will pass if the value returned by the unit in response to the "B" command is ASCII "27.6" or the actual float voltage if it is higher than 27.4V. Test Condition: Send the unit under test the ASCII "B" command. Check the response from the unit. If measured float voltage in test sequence 21 is 54.8V or greater, adjust "B" response to equal the measured float voltage. If measured float voltage is less than 54.8V, set "B" response to be 55.20. Increment or decrement battery voltage calibration constant by sending "+" or a "-"to the board . Repeat until the Pass condition below is satisfied. Pass/Fail Conditions: The unit will fail if the response to the "+" or "-" command is less than HEX "E0"

  • The unit will pass if the value returned by the unit in response to the "B" command is ASCII "55.20" or the actual float voltage if it is higher than 54.8V. See sequence 8. The PCB must be in program mode. See sequence 9. The unit will have a rev 8 (or later) processor. Test Condition: Send the command to read the constant ("4", "5", "6", or "0"). Compare the response to the expected value in the table. If the value does not agree, use the "+" or "-" command to change the constant until it agrees with the value in the table. Abort the test if no response is obtained from the UPS at any point in the procedure. Pass/Fail Conditions: Pass if communications were opened and the calibration constants achieved the values in the following table. If the table contains no values for a particular model use the constants in the table for the rev. 7 code.

Pass/Fail Conditions: The unit shall pass if the response is between ASCII "12" and "35" Set Battery Date: Send the ASCII "x" to the unit Send the ASCII "-" followed by the 8 digit date code of the form XX/XX/XX and evaluate the response.
