  • Portable drills

    Is a machine tool hand-support

Is power-driven machine tool that rotates twist drills bits, reamers, counterbores, and similar cutting tools.

The portable drill may be electrically powered by means of an internalelectric motor or may be pneumatically powered.

The shear stress is not very big.

Usually only support twist drill with a measure no more than 13millimeters.

  • Desktop drills

These are placed on a table.

They are used for machining small parts.

    Usually they take many revolutions.

The change speed is by pulleys.

  • Column drills

These machines are big fixedto the ground.

They are used for machininglarge diameters holes, andmuch depth.

These have less speed thatdesktop drills.

The speed change is made bya gearbox.
