Dear Friends ~ It was wonderful to see so many of you on September 17 as we kicked-off the new 60+ season. Sister Carol and Dr. Mark King were on hand to wish us well. Favorite Gary Thompson entertained us in high-style with staff members Anna Nugent and Rev. Shari Brink stopping by to add flavor and grace to an already delicious show. Especially exciting was the birthday celebration. We celebrated July, August and September birthdays and many of you came out to be feted. And our own Jobe Forte invited 30 of his dearest and closest friends (Marilyn Monroe included) to sing in his 99 years of youth, right here with the 60+ Fel- lowship. It was a day of catching up, fun fellowship, and deep community. Rev Liz Testa sends her love. She has returned on Sundays to worship as a Mar- ble member. Her daughters are part of Marble’s Children Youth and Families Ministry. Liz has been traveling with her new RCA position and is doing well. Dr. Bill Luꜩ sends his regrets that he won’t be with us on October 1. His wife, Judy, had knee replacement surgery and is still in rehab, but well on her way to recovery. He is thinking of you and looks forward to lunching with us when his wife is released and stabilized. We wish them well. Cards will be available on Wednesdays to sign, and I will send them along to Bill and Judy. Please let me know if any of your 60+ friends are experiencing challenges and might need a check-in from us. Mary Griffin, our Ministry Of Caring Concerns rep, is always glad to reach out with a call or a card to the ill or heartsick. We hope to expand our Ministry of Caring concerns this year by encouraging YOU, the members, to reach out to those in need. You can begin by penning a card to Dr. Luꜩ as I mentioned above. The fellowship has a large collection of blank cards for just such occasions. We’ll have them out on Wednesdays. It’s encouraging to see so many of you renewing your membership. Sixteen of you have added onto your $20 registration fee to become 60+ Super Supporters. Checks have arrived in amounts from $25 all the way up to $100. Whatever amount you are able to give please know that we need you more than we need your money, but by golly, I sure do appreciate your generosity. Membership scholarships are available for those who might be facing challenging times. Let me know how I can help you. Your membership is important. Well, we’ve started things off with a bang! Let’s keep up the momentum as we tumble into the crisp clear air of autumn. See you soon. Dear Friends ~

It was wonderful to see so many of you on September 17 as we kicked-off the

new 60+ season. Sister Carol and Dr. Mark King were on hand to wish us well.

Favorite Gary Thompson entertained us in high-style with staff members Anna

Nugent and Rev. Shari Brink stopping by to add flavor and grace to an already

delicious show. Especially exciting was the birthday celebration. We celebrated

July, August and September birthdays and many of you came out to be feted.

And our own Jobe Forte invited 30 of his dearest and closest friends (Marilyn

Monroe included) to sing in his 99 years of youth, right here with the 60+ Fel-

lowship. It was a day of catching up, fun fellowship, and deep community.

Rev Liz Testa sends her love. She has returned on Sundays to worship as a Mar-

ble member. Her daughters are part of Marble’s Children Youth and Families

Ministry. Liz has been traveling with her new RCA position and is doing well.

Dr. Bill Lutz sends his regrets that he won’t be with us on October 1. His wife,

Judy, had knee replacement surgery and is still in rehab, but well on her way to

recovery. He is thinking of you and looks forward to lunching with us when his

wife is released and stabilized. We wish them well. Cards will be available on

Wednesdays to sign, and I will send them along to Bill and Judy.

Please let me know if any of your 60+ friends are experiencing challenges and

might need a check-in from us. Mary Griffin, our Ministry Of Caring Concerns

rep, is always glad to reach out with a call or a card to the ill or heartsick. We

hope to expand our Ministry of Caring concerns this year by encouraging YOU,

the members, to reach out to those in need. You can begin by penning a card to

Dr. Lutz as I mentioned above. The fellowship has a large collection of blank

cards for just such occasions. We’ll have them out on Wednesdays.

It’s encouraging to see so many of you renewing your membership. Sixteen of

you have added onto your $20 registration fee to become 60+ Super Supporters.

Checks have arrived in amounts from $25 all the way up to $100. Whatever

amount you are able to give please know that we need you more than we need

your money, but by golly, I sure do appreciate your generosity. Membership

scholarships are available for those who might be facing challenging times. Let

me know how I can help you. Your membership is important.

Well, we’ve started things off with a bang! Let’s keep up the momentum as we

tumble into the crisp clear air of autumn. See you soon.

Blessings, Colleen “Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another,

especially now that the Day is drawing near. “ Hebrews 10:25.
