Sarah Manney, M.D., is board certified in pediatrics, providing comprehensive medical care for newborns, children and teens. She works closely with patients’ parents and families to make certain children are developing and maturing without issue.

Deepti Pandita, M.D., is board certified in internal medicine and clinical informatics. She has a passion for using innovation and technology to improve care delivery for underserved and marginalized populations. She started a telemedicine program that delivers substance abuse treatment to incarcerated patients at the Hennepin County jail and is working to create health equity in the space of telemedicine for all underserved populations.

Ken Holmen, M.D., became CentraCare’s president and CEO in January 2014. For 10 years prior, he had been a vice president with HealthPartners and chief medical officer at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He spent many years practicing anesthesiology and served as CEO of his medical practice.

Joy Plamann, DNP, MBA, RN, BC, serves as the senior vice president of the Central Division for CentraCare and president of CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital, located in central Minnesota. She has been a nurse for the past 26 years. Plamann has led many quality, performance improvement and safety initiatives over her career and recently co-led the CentraCare response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the health system’s road to recovery.

Anthony Gardner is responsible for CentraCare’s internal and external communications, branding, public and media relations, marketing, crisis communications and reputation management. Prior to joining CentraCare, he was vice president of marketing and communications for Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan, for 10 years and director of marketing and planning for North Memorial in Robbinsdale.

Nick Zerwas served four terms in the Minnesota House of Representatives as a health care policy leader. After retiring from the Legislature last December, he joined a law firm in St. Paul and continues to advocate on the issues he cares about.

U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum is a Democrat representing Minnesota’s Fourth District in the United States House of Representatives. In 2000, she made history as only the second Minnesota woman elected to serve in Congress since statehood in 1858. McCollum represents the residents of Minnesota’s capital city, St. Paul, as well as all of Ramsey County and most of Washington County. A member of the House Appropriations Committee, she serves as chair of the Interior-Environment Subcommittee, vice chair of the Defense Subcommittee and as a member of the Agriculture and Rural Development Subcommittee.

Mary Krinkie directs MHA’s policy and advocacy efforts. She has navigated numerous pieces of complex legislation through the state legislative process. Her ability to work with both DFL and Republican majorities has been a key component of MHA’s advocacy success. Krinkie is recognized as a persuasive voice for the hospital and health system community.

Sen. Julie A. Rosen is a Republican serving her fifth term as a Minnesota state senator representing District 23, which includes all or portions of Blue Earth, Faribault, Jackson, Le Sueur, Martin, Waseca and Watonwan counties. She chairs the Senate Finance Committee and is a member of the Energy and Utilities Finance and Policy, Health and Human Services Finance and Policy and Human Services Reform Finance and Policy committees. In addition, Rosen chairs the Legislative Commission on Pension and Retirement and the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Sports Facilities.

Rep. Kelly Morrison is serving her second term in the Minnesota House of Representatives representing District 33B in the western Twin Cities metropolitan area. A member of the Minnesota DFL party, she is a physician who has practiced in Minnesota for 18 years. She serves on the Early Childhood Finance and Policy, Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy, Health Finance and Policy and Preventive Health Policy Division committees.

Sen. Smith is a Democrat representing Minnesota in the U.S. Senate. She is a fierce advocate for Minnesotans and is focused on continuing the progressive legacy of the seat she holds. On health care, she worked to lower the number of Minnesotans without health insurance, and now the state’s uninsured rate is among the lowest in the country. But Sen. Smith understands there’s still a lot we need to do to tackle health care costs, including prescription drug prices, and she’s committed to working to address this issue for Minnesota families.
