Superstars

Dear Scintillating Superstars,

Beep! Beep! I hopped on the security man's scooter for a photo op. Something possessed me, and I took off rolling towards the director class. I made one quick trip up and down the aisles, honked my little horn, introduced myself and assured everyone it was going to be a memorable Career Conference. It was my first time as a host national in Sandy, Utah. I collected new friends, learned more about bubble sheets, and was distracted from an inspirational hike by a shopping mall. I'll have to show you my new shoes some time. Best part...realizing that after 23 years of Career Conferences...you can still have fun and learn something. Back here in Illinois, we may have started a new tradition? As usual, I gather people when I get the chance. For the first time we invited REDS to join the Directors for lunch before the special classes at Career Conference. Friday lunch at an Irish Pub in March might include some fish and chips, and maybe even a

shepherd pie.

For sure it included an invitation to move up out of those red jackets into director suits. I believe we have some takers. Career Conference is where consultants get a vision. And the Dog Chop Challenge Dinner, Princess Ball, and Seminar is where you'll see the winners. Next stop Dallas! Many flights have been booked! We've talked to our

liaison "America" to finalize plans for a dining experience at corporate. Gilly's gave the go ahead for the upstairs room, and we'll be the FIRST group to experience the brand new

Omni hotel which is ATTACHED to the Dallas Convention Center. Ask me if I'm excited… already!! That's a unique aspect of Mary Kay. There's always something just around the corner that gets you jazzed. What's next? Who's next? The Martin National Area is

My Dream Corner…..I'm dreaming about our

very first RED JACKET DAY on May 12th. I'm

seeing who will be finishers? I'm picturing who

got her three new because she couldn't

imagine missing the VERY FIRST RED DAY.

Would you like to be included in my dream? It

takes faces and career talks and a desire to

claim IT.
