Dance Workshop Disney Dancin• Performers find out what it takes to be an integral member of a cohesive dance cast as

they learn techniques to help maximize their rehearsal time and deliver a focused performance. Begin with a simulated Disney audition led by a professional Disney dancer then learn how the magic is created as dancers go through a rehearsal of a real Disney show. The 2 1/2-hour workshop culminates in a finale performance incorporating all of the elements they have learned.

• Your Disney clinician will also share industry insights to give dancers a competitive edge as they:

• Rehearse routines from several Disney shows to explore different choreography styles.• Learn how to choose the proper attire for an audition and how to stand out from the

crowd.• Discover tips for creating an effective resume and getting the best possible pictures.• Find out how versatility and the right attitude can open doors to opportunity.• Examine professional dance from the perspectives of a show director, producer and

• Learn vocal techniques to improve diction and produce unified vowel sounds.• Develop better breath control through good posture.• Perfect your "nonverbals": facial expression, eye contact, posture and audience connection.• Examine varied musical styles and how different vocal production techniques are required in the

music industry.• Discover proven audition tips that will increase your chances of success.• Learn how to be flexible in your approach to songs and voiceovers.• Discuss the requirements of a studio recording environment and what is expected of performers• All music is provided at the workshop and taught by your Disney clinician and accompanist.• http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfQfPBj0Y5Q
