Our Valentine's Day Wordsearch last month was a huge success. Thank you to so many of you who felt the buzz of romance and sent in entries. The lucky winner was Josephine Rose of Meopham. She and her partner enjoyed a romantic Valentine's Dinner with wine at The Green Man Vintage Inn at Longfield Hill. And the missing words in the February competition were MY VALENTINE. It's non-stop this month on the calendar as The Village Advertiser celebrates St David's Day on the 1st, Mothering Sunday on the 10th, St Patrick's Day on the 17th, the First Day of Spring on the 20th and, as a grand finale, the Easter weekend with Good Friday on the 29th. And if all that wasn't enough, the clocks go forward on Sunday 31st. So, a lot to look forward to and a chance to get together with family and friends or take off for a few precious days in the sun. We're warming to the feeling of Spring, evenings start to lengthen and the garden will soon need our attention. Our advertisers are here to help you - with gardening queries, Spring cleaning, DIY problems and home improvements. Take a look through our pages and we're sure you'll find the businesses you need to take that leap from Winter gloom to Spring clean. Hartley De Sales Under 14’s FC Update

Hartley de Sales dropped their first points of the season on Sunday 3rd February at home against Headcorn, drawing 2 - 2 although they came back from being 2 - 0 down. However they followed that game with their biggest ever victory in the history of the team on Sunday 10th February winning 14 - 0 at Vinters Green (and yes they did have the same number of players as Hartley!). These results mean that Hartley De Sales are still top of their league. Keep up the good work boys and well done!
