Emergency Reminders
Please report all changes of address or telephone numbers (business or home) to the office. Your cooperation is appreciated in making sure we have up to date emergency contact numbers for your child. Also; if your child has an Inhaler and/or an Epipen in the school, please make sure they are up to date and not expired. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your students’ medical items please call the office. Both items do not work as well when they are expired so please make sure to check the dates. This is especially important for the warm spring weather coming and seasonal allergies. If there have been any changes to your student’s medical file, please update their IPOC and bring it to
the office.
SchoolConnects Safe Arrival Reporting System is a system that allows parents/guardians to report their child’s absences by phone, website, or smartphone app. Absences and lates must be reported to the system before our bell time of 9:10 a.m. If this does not occur, parents will receive calls from the system in order to verify that parents/guardians are aware of absences or lates. All students arriving after 9:10 a.m. must go to the office and get a late slip before going to their classroom. Students arriving after 9:10 a.m. will not be admitted to class without a late slip.
There are 3 ways to report your student’s absence, or lateness: 1. By phone — 1-844-305-3756 2. Online — tvdsb.schoolconnect.com 3. By app (App Store: SafeArrival or
Google Play SafeArrival)

A reminder for parents that our school day ends at 3:30. We ask that you wait until the bell rings to collect your children with the exception of those that have appointments or pre-arranged dismissals. If you need to pick up your child early please call ahead so that we can have them outside the office ready for you.
Note: Children will only be released to contacts the parent(s)/guardian(s) have provided Thank you for your continued diligence in reporting your child’s absences so that we can work together to ensure
student safety.
If your student is leaving for lunch, please make sure to send with them a signed note for
their teacher. If students need to leave early for appointments or be excused from class, parents and/or guardians must sign the student out in the office. Students are unable to leave school property with just verbal permission over the phone. This is important in making sure students are safe and accounted for at all times. The blue sign out slips are kept and retained by
the office as per board policies.

Our lost and found bin is once again overflowing with snow pants, sweaters, mitts, hats and boots. If your child is missing anything, it has probably found its way to the bins outside the library.
We have spread out the items along tables so please come in and take a look at what has been lost We will be donating the items soon so make sure your student(s) come down to see if anything belongs to them.
Join us on March 26th and wear purple to promote epilepsy awareness!
