March 5, 2020 Intergroup Meeting
Corrections Report
Women's Facilities
DCP- The volunteers at DCP women's continue to step up, go above and beyond and do their jobs well.
Incarcerated AA's appreciate and thank us for coming. The Friday night meeting is the bright spot in
their week and also in our week. Our volunteers benefit as much as or more than the incarcerated
ladies.
They requested an order of pamphlets, which I have requested and will be fulfilling for them this
evening.
DCP Women's Work Release- Our annual volunteer luncheon was held in February. About 10 ladies
attended, including one new volunteer. We also have another potential new volunteer. Tuesday evening
Joe and Charlie meetings are well attended and well received. We have consistent volunteers at those
meetings. Saturday morning meetings are in need of volunteers and we are encouraging our ladies to
commit to a Saturday during the month. At least two volunteers must be in attendance at this facility and we have to·canceHhe"flleeting~if.:.en~y-ene::volttflteef:is:-avai~able.-Eor this reason,....we. are in.need of
more volunteers for the women's work release.
Cumberland Co. Women's- All is running smoothly.
The full Corrections Committee will be meeting on Saturday March 14th 2020.
Intergroup Corrections Report Mar'20
• Dauphin Co. Men's, from Nick 8.- DCP is running well! We have 6 regular volunteers, two meetings on
Monday night that are running well I
• Dauphin Co Men's Work Release from Ken- Men's work release is going great. All commitments are being met and attendance is good. Request 10 living sober books (along with the BBs).
• SCI Camp Hill from John P.- Camp Hill is doing well. Our new meeting place in the chapel can get quite crowded if we have more than 15 or so inmates. This, unfortunately, seems to limit the number of attendees to fit the space. Thus far no complaints but we are not able to "grow" any larger. We will discuss having only 2 volunteers at each meeting to open up a chair or two.
• CC Mens from Randy - ?
• Perry Co.- Things are well. Have a new volunteer and one other application coming.
• Dauphin Co. Womens-
• Dauphin Co. Womens Work Release-
