The Mountain has been buzzing this spring as everyone knows. Running with a smaller staff this season, we have all been stretched to do more and the Renegade team has risen to the chal-lenge. Last Thurs-day, in particular, stood out as a great success thanks to team members Luke Hemel-strand, Golf Pro, Bob Berry, Golf Shop Sales Super, and Chase Rains, Outside Services Super. Luke was a huge part of the largest volume Demo Day of the year; at one point as I passed through he was fitting half a dozen people at the same time!Bob was extremely helpful in the golf shop,
answering a ton of phone calls, check-ing in golfers, and managing a great day in shop sales. On a day that could have turned chaotic, Chase led the way as his team handled the outside opera-tion with ease. The efforts of these three gentlemen deserve to be rec-ognized as they each have helped to elevate the success of the entire team. Thank you to the entire Renegade Team, as well as Kristin Vela, Anncha Campagna, and Chris Ander-son for all of their hard work in providing our
members with another wonderful day!

The Outlaw Professional Staff was a bit shorthand-ed for the last several weeks aer the depar-ture of Rob Smyser, but there was never a lapse in service because of Eldon Epperly, OLW Head Golf Pro. Eldon worked from before sunrise to aer sunset for
several weeks, without a day off, just to ensure the opera#on con#nued fluidly through some of our busiest days of the
season. This is just a small example of Eldon's commitment to excellence here at Outlaw. Eldon rou#nely proves he is a strong leader by wearing many hats throughout the day and constantly shows that no task is too small for his a(en#on. Whether it is picking the range or handling a member's special requests, Eldon does it all here at Outlaw and it wouldn't be the outstanding opera#on it is without him.

Over the past few months both Christophe Hermine, Director of Club Ops & Kathy Wyckoff, Director of Member Services, have been instrumental in assis#ng Mr. & Mrs. Salyer in the newest venture at Desert Mountain: Golf Croquet. Their con#nued leadership and guidance helped kick off a great first event on April 2, 2013, appropriately called "Wine & Wickets". Thank you to both Christophe and Kathy for all of their hard work in assis#ng Mr. & Mrs. Salyer in bringing Golf Croquet to Desert Mountain.

Mike Scully,
It was great to meet you this past week during the Coyote Cup. I have to say that Mike Cook [Tournament Coord], Dan Sewalk [CG Head Golf Pro] and the rest of the guys did a wonderful job and it was another first class event executed by a great staff. The courses were in unbelieva-bly good shape and while we were all punished by the daily pin locations, it was fun and a great test. I always look forward to the Coyote Cup. I don’t get out to DM enough, but hopefully I will find more time this year. Thanks again, and good luck with the big events coming up.
