to present thousands of pounds to youth charity The Prince’s Trust. Over the previous financial year Marchand

Petit has contributed a proportion from every house they have sold to the charity.

The presentation, took place at the beautiful Delamore

Estate in Cornwood, and gave all staff the opportunity

to enjoy the culmination of their efforts when a cheque

was presented to Sally Mabbutt from The Prince’s Trust

and Trust-supported young entrepreneur Owen Lowry.

The funds raised will go to help more young people like

Owen, from Plymouth, who have faced many difficulties

in their lives, but have overcome them with the help of

The Prince’s Trust.

“With so many charities in need, the decision has not

been easy,” said Marcus Lucock, Managing Director of

Marchand Petit commenting on the choice of cause to

support. “The main reason for the decision is at a time

when levels of unemployment amongst young people

is at an all time high, The Prince’s Trust can offer the

support needed for 13 to 30 years old to turn their

lives around.”

Sally Mabbutt, Commercial Manager at The Prince’s

Trust added: “We are delighted to have had the support

of Marchand Petit over the last year and are thrilled

with the outstanding amount they have raised.

We couldn’t continue to help the number of young

people that we do across Devon and the whole of the

helping disadvantaged young people in the local area
