Teacher Notes

Present the months in French one by one

and ask the pupils to repeat the words

together as a group as they appear on the

screen.

Go through the words a second time as

each word is shaded green.

Ask for group repetition again but this

time with the words out of sequence as

they are shaded purple.

You could pause at this stage and play a

number of games to practise the new

vocabulary.

The French words will now be obscured

individually with only the English

abbreviations remaining. The pupils have

to see if they can remember what the

French words are. Take individual

answers then press the mouse button to

reveal the correct answer each time.

For further practice of the months, the

joker will spin round and a word jumble

of one of the months will appear. Ask the

pupils which month it is in French. You

could do some spelling practice for this

task and ask the pupils to write their

answers on mini boards.

Teacher Notes

All the months are now on the screen in

French. A gremlin will appear. Ask the

pupils to guess which of the French

months the gremlin is going to zap. The

sequence is septembre / mai / octobre /

février / août / mars / novembre / juillet /

décembre janvier / juin / avril.

screen. You could use this slide as a

visual aid as you set the pupils some

classwork.
