[A monthly mobility allowance][A monthly mobility allowance]

Mobility Allowances: It is a monthly payment of a flat rate contribution to cover expenses related to the mobility (relocation, family expenses, language courses, travel expenses etc.)

As a general rule the experienced researcher is appointed under an employment contract …

…when an employment contract cannot be provided, the experienced researcher must be recruited under a

status equivalent to a fixed amount fellowship, provided that it is compatible with the national

legislation and that adequate social security is provided (but not necessarily paid from the fellowship).

Page 22: Marie Curie Individual Actions: eligibility, contents, financial regime Katia Insogna, APRE- Italy National Expert/NCP People & Regional Kyiv, 12 April

As a general principle the choice of appointment type should be made in accordance with the best

interests of the experienced researcher. The The European Charter for Researchers and the Code European Charter for Researchers and the Code

of Conduct for the recruitment of researchersof Conduct for the recruitment of researchers offer a reference framework for the employment

of researchers.
