Relevant projects Systems Conveyance and Operations Program (SCOP), Lake Conveyance System Pipeline, Clark County, Nevada. Atkins marine archeologists conducted a geophysical survey of 889 acres in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area followed by video documentation of selected features using an a remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The survey was performed to map historic infrastructure associated with construction of the Hoover Dam. Atkins archeologists mapped and photographed the inundated aggregate classification plant and storage facility, where all the gravel for the Hoover Dam construction was washed and sorted. The facility included several rail beds built by the Six Companies Railroad to transport aggregate. Atkins recommended these sites as contributing elements of the Hoover Dam Railroads Non-Contiguous Historic District.

Historic Properties Investigations as needed for USACE Galveston District, Texas and Louisiana.
