Mario Mena was born in San Mateo, California and was exposed to music

very early. With his father’s side of the family been involved in many parts of

the music industry Mario was practically raised up to sing and perform.

But his talent had been hidden from the world until his junior year of high

school when he made his first performance in his high school musical.

Playing Adam Pontipee in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Mario’s talents

were quickly admired and displayed.

With multiple choir solos and returning to the stage his next year in the

Beauty and the Beast as the humorous Cogsworth it was evident he had a

persona on stage.

Whether it was acting or singing Mario had a love for the stage and would

continue to work his way higher in the industry. Though he loved acting his

passion was music, writing multiple songs as well as covers of other songs he

worked on improving his range ad finding his style.

Besides his vocals Mario also knows how to play the piano and drums.

He started a band with his best friend Donnie Bacchi but didn’t go very

far seeing the passion for music was not equally shared and couldn’t get

together a lot.

He took a step down from the stage to take classes for voice at Sierra

College and improve his vocal skills. Mario wants to use his voice and music

to inspire people and give people a genuine song of emotions which he

feels this day in age lacks. He wants all his songs to mean something an

effect people in positive ways.

BIO:

I am a singer/songwriter with style, unique, and creative skills in songwriting and I am also a hardworking, dedicated, emotional, and inspired guy who loves creative work and making people smile. I aim to use my music to inspire change in people and give people a voice if they don’t have one.
