Think they have it figured out He is “fuzzy” They see better than most but

1. Who do people say that I am?

2. Who do you say that I am?

3. What does it mean for Him to be Christ?

killed, and after three days rise again. 32And He was stating the matter

plainly. And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him.

Peter who the moment before was “confessor” suddenly turns

“counselor” and tells Jesus what kind of Christ He should be.

HE MUST DIE BEFORE HE CAN REIGN!

It’s not a disciple’s place to fashion his leader, it’s a disciple’s place to follow his leader.

This is the most important point in the whole gospel of Mark. What kind of Jesus do you see?
