EC&M Magazine recently named two Thomas & Betts products as category winners for their 2010

Product of the Year Awards. The Steel City® 665-AV2 Floor Box was named the category winner

for boxes, and the Sta-Kon® Comfort Crimp® Compression Tool won the hand-tool category. The

winners were highlighted in the March issue of EC&M and the April edition of Electrical Wholesaling.

The products in the contest were showcased in the EC&M booth at the

Electric West Show, held March 16–18 in Las Vegas. A panel of judges

selected 33 category winners from nearly 100 products submitted. All

category-winning products are now eligible for a reader-decided poll that

will select the platinum, gold and silver overall winners. These winners

will be announced in the July issue of EC&M Magazine.

Recent Distributor Trade ShowsIMARK Showcase

March 24–27, 2010 — Chicago, IL

IMARK Showcase brings key distributor executives and supplier companies together

to network, discuss sales growth opportunities, preview new products and ways

to sell them to increase profitability. This year also formally included Equity/EDN

members as part of the IMARK organization. Over the course of the meeting, almost

400 member companies were in attendance, and Thomas & Betts participated in

more than 60 one-on-one meetings with IMARK executives. The 20-minute sessions

provide an opportunity to identify and discuss issues and opportunities together.

This year, IMARK invited manufacturers to showcase new products in three pavilion

areas focusing on the Electrical Contractor, Industrial MRO and Energy Efficiency.

SNS351 Compression Connector The Compression Connector for Digital Drop Coaxial CablesTo further expand our Snap-N-Seal family, Thomas & Betts developed the SNS351 compression connector for digital drop coaxial cables. This connector works on digital drop cables from various manufacturers, including Belden H121, Cavel DG80 and WISI MK75C.

Look for the classic design of this Thomas & Betts connector. With its user-friendly, pre-positioned and detachably coupled plastic sleeve, the Snap-N-Seal® SNS351 Connector incorporates time-proven advantages for a reliable connection.

To reduce assembly time and simplify installation, the plastic sleeve is pre-positioned and detachably coupled to the connector body

The plastic sleeve’s separability from the connector body further simplifies difficult installations

Quad-sealed system prevents moisture migration

NiTin finish plus UV-resistant plastic and O-rings provide a reliable, environmentally sealed product
