Martek Food Systems - Bulk Dispensing Bins
Citation preview
Dispensing innovation...
Shopping in bulk saves packaging and money;
it allows the consumer to portion control
and avoids food waste, whilst encouraging
experimentation with new ingredients. For the
retailer, bulk dispensed foods cost far less than
packaged foods, and offer greater shelf density.
Martek Food Systems offers the industry’s leading
range of bulk dispensing bins manufactured by
Trade Fixtures. They are made of polycarbonate, with
an impact strength 35 times greater than acrylic, and
are virtually unbreakable. They are crystal clear, yet
provide UV protection against store lighting, and
have tight closing lids to maintain product freshness.
The bins are seamless, with round corners, making
them hygienic and easy to clean – they are also
dishwasher safe up to 55° Celsius. A false front
design allows for efficient stock rotation, while the
bins always appear full.

Dispensing innovation...
The perfect choice for any free-flowing product
such as grains, cereals, beans, rice, nuts, small pastas,
sweets, coffee, tea, dry cat and dog food, birdseed
and more. Four different sizes are available to provide
the optimum combination of capacity, refill cycle
and product freshness.
The bins are attractive and easy to use. The flow
control can be adjusted to six different settings to
maximize consumer control and reduce spillage. An
innovative double-lip seal ensures total flow control
and smooth door closure.
Gravity bins can be easily mounted onto most
standard gondola shelving or incorporated within
custom steel or wood displays. Use our exclusive
bracket system or secure the bins to shelving using
the retainer knob provided. An optional swing-down
arm makes filling higher bins easier and a fill funnel
and stand is also available.

Scoop Bins

Food Systems
The practical and eye-catching option for
merchandising “hard to flow” and larger products.
Scoop bins are designed to show products
attractively and rotate stock simply, cleanly and
quickly. Four different sizes are available (two
widths and two depths) that can be displayed in any
combination to suit the products on offer.
The bins provide automatic (First In, First Out)
stock rotation, while a tight door seal promotes
product freshness and protection. Each bin has
a glare and adhesive-free product label holder.
Scoop bins can be mounted in a variety of ways, on
standard shelving or within bespoke fixtures, and
optional slide-out arms facilitate refilling without
removing the bins. Each bin is supplied with either a
scoop or tongs, stored in an integral holster.
Dispensing innovation...
A more sanitary, safe method for dispensing bulk
spices, seasonings, toppings and powders that are
traditionally dispensed using an open container or
scoop. Ideal for lower volume products (two sizes
available: 60fl.oz. and 96fl.oz.) benefiting from a
“self-closing” airtight enclosure.
Inversion bins are easy to use and dramatically
reduce waste and the potential for contamination.
The ergonomically designed bins have an easy-
to-grip handle, flat surfaces for product labels and
a graduated measuring chamber in Metric and
Imperial units.
Whether you are looking for a single scoop bin, or
planning a bulk superstore, you should be talking
to Martek. We can help you solve the familiar retail
challenges: space utilisation, stock rotation, ease of
use and merchandising appeal.
Trust Martek Food Systems as your bulk
merchandising partner to achieve enhanced
customer satisfaction, higher profitability and lower
environmental impact.
