1929 Martin Luther King Jr. was born in

January 15, 1929. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. King He lived in Atlanta, Georgia His real name is Michael Luther KingHe was born on a noonHe enjoyed the church his dad preached atHis family and friends called him M.L

1937M.L loved sportsSome of his friends were whiteThere was a new law that stated M.L couldn’t

play with his white friends

1944He graduated from Booker T. Washington

High School and he was admitted to Morehouse Collage at age 15

1951He entered Boston University for graduated

studies

1953He got married to Coretta Scott and settled

in Montgomery, Alabama.

1955He received Doctorate of philosophy an

systematic Theology from Boston Massachusetts on June 5, 1955

1957 On May 17, 1957 Dr. King spoke to a crowd

over 15,000 people in Washington DC

1963M.L got elected man of the year for a

magazine

1968M.L died at 39 in a hotel on April 4, 1968 By

a hidden sniper manHis grave said “ Free at last, Free at last,

Thank God all Mighty, I’m Free at last
