PTO NEWS Our next general PTO meeting will be held on THURSDAY November 16 at 7 PM. Please note the change to Thursday (meetings have historically been on Wednesdays). Please join us as we will provide a budget update and final total on Capital Campaign. Thank you to all who helped in the planning and preparation for Trunk or Treat! Any and all fundraising takes a village, and this is no exception. All of these efforts have helped us to continue to fund amazing enrichment programs, teacher requests and smaller things such as 3rd grade recorders and agendas for students in 3rd - 5th grades. Thank you to our enrichment coordinators, Laura Parry, Anna Baker and Natalie Clark. Two months into the school year and our students have already participated in great programs such as Urbanity, Wingmasters and Energized Guys. Stay tuned for more exciting programs! We have two passive fundraisers currently scheduled in November. We will once again team with the Toy Box in Hanover for MES shopping day. This is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th. On that date, the Toy Box will donate back 20% of ALL SALES back to the MES PTO; that’s 20% of purchases both in store and online INCLUDING gift cards! This was hugely successful for us last year, so get those holiday lists ready and check off some gifts!!! New this year, we have a fundraising day at SkyZone in Kingston. On Thursday November 9th, SkyZone will donate $5 for EVERY jumper from MES who books an hour jump time. Kids/ families can book time anytime from 2 PM UNTIL 8 PM and MES will benefit. Flyers for both fundraising events will be coming home in the next few weeks.
