Example: The purpose of this experiment is to see which 2 nd grade teacher will win at the milk chugging contest Purpose Slide 6 This is the where you guess what is going to happen after the experiment I think Example: I think that Mr. Bagley will beat Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Johnson at the milk chugging contest. Hypothesis + Slide 7 Materials are the things that you will need for the experiment. Example: We will need a gallon of milk and a timer for the milk chugging experiment. Materials Slide 8 These are the steps you complete during the experiment. Think of them as Example: 1. Teachers will be given a gallon milk. 2. The teachers will drink the whole gallon of milk while someone times them with the timer. 3. Record each teachers time on a chart. Procedure Slide 9 After you have followed the steps of the experiment, record the data! Then create a chart or graph to show your data. Then you can try to find anything special about your results. Example: We learned that Mr. Bagley is stronger than the other teachers and can chug a lot of milk!
