Yearbook Cover Entries Due Next Week
Just a reminder to all 4th and 5th grade students that the Yearbook Cover Contest
entries are due next week. The due date has been extended to Wednesday,
November 26th.
If you haven't already, pick up an 11x17 piece of paper in the office and create a
design that will represent this years theme "And the Story Begins..." If you have any
questions, please feel free to contact the Yearbook Committee, Deborah

Mary Woodward Family Movie
Night is tonight, Friday,
November 21st, at Mary
Woodward Elementary.
The doors will open at 6:00 and the
movie will begin at 6:15. Cost of
entry is one can of food per person
or $5 per family. Come join us for a
very fun night!
Box Tops & Labels Contest Update
5600 Box Tops and over 1000 Labels for Education
points have been collected so far this year!
Leaders for our collection contest are...
McCombs, Barendse, Smith, White and Rice
Less than a dollar separates our current 2nd place
class from our 5th but only the top 3 classes will be
rewarded with a party at the end of our contest,
so keep sending in your Box Tops and labels!
Our first collection contest ends December 5th.

Making Our School Better, Together.
The Mary Woodward Parent Support
Organization (PSO) was established
to promote quality education,
communication and understanding
among the students, parents, faculty
and the community of Mary
Woodward Elementary School. The
PSO sponsors various academic and
social programs, coordinates
volunteer activity and conducts
fundraisers, all in the spirit of
providing enrichment for our
students and assistance for the work
in the classroom. All parents and
legal guardians of enrolled Mary
Woodward students are invited to
participate in the PSO. There is no
cost for membership. Meetings are
usually held the second Monday of
each month.

Start preparing for the holidays! Purchase gift cards through the scrip
program and Mary Woodward will benefit! Amazon, Target, and Best Buy
are just a few of the vendors you can purchase gift cards for through
Scrip.
LIMITED TIME OFFER: For every 1 Columbia Sportswear $50 Gift card
purchased, you will receive 1 pass to the Employee Store good for up to 4
people.
Next Scrip order date is Monday, December 8.
Order forms can be found on the PSO website,
www.marywoodwardpso.com, under Events & Fundraisers. For check
orders, please leave the order form and payment in the Scrip box in the
office by 2:30 pm. To pay by credit card via PayPal, place your order
online at www.marywoodwardpso.com. Orders will be available for pick
up on the morning of Friday, December 12. You can also choose to have
your order mailed to you.
Upcoming Foundation Events
The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools is excited to begin a partnership
with the Portland Trailblazers this year, and to continue with Broadway
Across America offering tickets to incredible shows that travel to Portland's
Keller Auditorium.
TRAILBLAZERS
We are selling tickets to a popular match-up - the LA Clippers,
Wednesday, January 14, 7 pm. Same prices to general public, with a
portion benefiting the Foundation and our schools. Every ticket
purchased through the FTTS program will get to come down on the court
after the game and take a foul shot! Select children of TTSD will also get
the chance to high-five the Blazers as they enter the court before the
game!
DIRTY DANCING
How many of us remember this movie? Great dancing. Patrick
Swayze. Songs that you still find yourself singing along to when you hear
them. The Foundation is selling tickets to this Broadway production that is
complete with the classic dance moves for Sunday, January 18, 6:30
pm. A portion of each ticket bought through the program will benefit our
kids. The last few years, these Broadway shows have netted $1,000 or
more for TTSD.
BOTH MAKE GREAT GIFTS - holiday, birthday, thank yous, anniversary, and
coaches/teachers/bosses/co-workers. A portion of ticket sales to LA
Clippers, Jan. 14th game and Dirty Dancing at the Keller Auditorium, Jan.
18th will benefit The Foundation and our students. Both great fun for our
community, your friends and co-workers. For more info and how to buy,

Orders received more than 30 days prior to the game date will be mailed to the above address.
Orders are filled on a first-come first-served basis and are subject to availability. No refunds or exchanges.

FUNDRAISING NIGHT at the Moda Center
Come join fellow Tigard-Tualatin School District students, staff, families and friends for a night of high-flying basketball action to benefit The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools. With each ticket purchased through this promotion, a portion will be donated to The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools.
Everyone purchasing tickets through the FTTS group will have the opportunity to come down on to the Trail Blazers court after the game and take a foul shot! Select children will also get the chance to high-5 the Trail Blazers players as they enter the court before the game!
