11. Additional comments: A Phase II National Register Site Evaluation of Site 18CV474 was conducted between April and May, 2008. Phase II fieldwork included excavation of 142 close-interval STPs and 12 test units (164 square feet), yielding a total of 3,465 artifacts. The site includes the remains of a fieldstone house foundation, a fieldstone chimney base, and a stone paving. Diagnostic artifacts suggest that it was occupied from ca 1850 to 1910. The site represents the remains of mid-19th to early 20th century domestic occupation. Based on the results of Phase II testing, Site 18CV474 is recommended as eligible for listing on the NRHP, under Criterion D. 12. Form filled out by: Lisa M. Dugas (GAI Consultants, Inc.) 11. Additional comments: A Phase II National Register Site Evaluation of Site 18CV481 was conducted in April 2008. Phase II fieldwork included excavation of 97 close-interval STPs and 7 test units (127 square feet), producing a total of 885 artifacts. Diagnostic artifacts yielded a mean date of 1894 and a terminus post quem date of 1903. Although map research indicates the presence of a structure in the site vicinity in 1905, no evidence of structural features was identified. The A horizon in this locality has either been eroded or mechanically removed (possibly during an effort to remove demolition debris from a former structure). The site represents the remains of a late-nineteenth to early twentieth-century domestic site. Based on the results of Phase II testing, Site 18CV474 is recommended as Not Eligible for listing on the NRHP. 12. Form filled out by: Lisa M. 11. Additional comments: A Phase II National Register Site Evaluation of Site 18CV482 was conducted in April 2008. Phase II fieldwork included excavation of 131 close-interval STPs and 11 test units (151 square feet), producing a total of 6,163 artifacts. Diagnostic artifacts yielded a mean date of 1893 and a terminus post quem date of 1890. Maps from 1862 and 1905 did not indicate a structure in this site location, suggesting a brief occupation during the last quarter of the nineteenth century. The site represents a late-nineteenth-century domestic site. It has been disturbed by plowing and mechanical earth moving activities. Based on the results of Phase II testing, Site 18CV474 is recommended as Not Eligible for listing on the NRHP. 12. Form filled out by: Lisa M.
