1964: the Maschio started production in
the stable next to their home that was
nicknamed “the tillers lodge”.
Today, that agricultural building which
was a mechanical laboratory has beco-
me a major industrial group, managed
by the two founding partners Egidio and
Giorgio Maschio and their children
Andrea, Mirco, Martina and Monica that
guarantee the continuity of the com-
pany management.
Furthermore, the group provides work
for 1000 employees, each of them with
special roles and tasks.
Maschio Gaspardo S.p.a. gathers 4 large
production centres in Italy and manages
a large industrial group including two
production companies, MASCHIO
GASPARDO ROMANIA S.r.l. and
MASCHIO GASPARDO QUINGDAO
Agricolture Machinery Co. Ltd. A new
production plant will soon be opened in
India.
The group is also made up of further 12
commercial companies in Germany,
France, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Poland,
China, Romania, South Korea, Middle
East, Turkey and North America.
The Maschio Group has been retaining
for years its position as leader in the
production of rotary tillers, powers
harrows, shredders, cultivators, seed
drills, row-crop cultivators, finger-blade
mowers and finishing mowers, offering
a range of 120 different models and a
yearly production of approximately
35,000 items.

This production plant manufactures
agricultural machinery for any type of
tractor, soil and crop.
It is also the office of Direction and
General Management.
The recent roof installation of a large
1,3 MW photovoltaic power system
makes the plant all-sufficient in terms
of power supply and clearly shows a
particular care over environmental
issues.

The maximum expression between the
manufacturing plants of MASCHIO and
GASPARDO is known as “COMBINA-
TA”, meaning in Italian ‘joining, mer-
ging, putting together forces for shared
projects’.
This is an innovative type of machine
that independently tills the soil and
plants seeds and that for some time
now has been designed and tested by
the two companies.
This perfectly integrated and
type-tested combination notably saves
fuel and time halving the working
process and thereby obtaining the
twofold advantage of passing just once
over the soil.

Specialised in the pressing of sheet
metal ranging from 0.3 to 12 millime-
ters in thickness, the factory also
boasts a wide range of mechanical and
hydraulic presses, from 50 to 5000
tons, equipped with transfer machines
and feeder lines for stripes up to 8 mil-
limeters thick.

MASCHIO GASPARDO keeps quality
assurance as constant target; for this
reason the group includes a production
plant that manufactures any kind of bla-
des mounted on the products, which
are of the finest workmanship and per-
fectly type-tested.
The choice of manufacturing such par-
ticular spare parts as blades in an own
plant comes from the need to ensure
excellent performance of the working
machines.
Also, this way a fast and constant supply
to spare parts warehouses is ensured.

The group MASCHIO GASPARDO has
also production plants in Romania and
China in order to cope with the needs of
important and demanding markets, with
greater efficiency and competitiveness.
A new production plant will soon be ope-
ned in India.

This is the result of the efforts of the
Maschio family and of all the employees
working for the group, more than 1,200
people, employees and numerous out-
side co-operators.
The factories cover about 596,000
square metres total, of which 79,000
covered.
There are robotised welding stations,
automated assembly lines, presses,
lathe centres, laser cutters, completely
automated painting lines and many
other advanced technical and mechani-
cal solutions.
ANALYSIS OF THE GROUP
The companies have large and innovative
production plants with UNI EN ISO
9001/2008 certification. In fact, each
management and production or service
phase has been designed and tested to
optimise resources and guarantee the
product’s high level of quality.
In addition to the company certifications,
Maschio Gaspardo S.p.A. also offer an
additional guarantee on their machines
and equipment through the ENAMA
certificate (Italian body for
AGROMECHANICAL INDUSTRY, mem-
ber of ENTAM (European Network for
Testing of Agricultural). ENAMA tests
the functional and safety performances
of agricultural machines also to
guarantee the safety of the user.

collaborate with the Agricultural faculty
