Summary:
The Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary has varied mixture of flat land,undulating parkland, open grassland, swamp, valleys and nullas.Mudumalai is famous for its elephant habitat and this is one of India's best sanctuaries. It is sandwiched between the Bandipur andAnnamalai sanctuaries.
Mudumalai wildlife reserve is a continuation of the BandipurNational Park. The river Moyar that flows along the border or TamilNadu and Karnataka separates the two. The Mysore - Ooty highwayruns through the park. The 321 sq. km. reserve is situated in TamilNadu.
The terrain is extremely varied with hills, valleys, ravines,watercourses and swamps. The vegetation comprises of tropicalmoist deciduous forests, dry deciduous forests and scrub forests.
Animals found in Mudumalai:
Langur, bonnet macaque, tiger, leopard, wild dog, hyena, jackal,sloth bear, elephants, gaur, sambar, spotted deer, Indian muntjac,mouse deer, wild boar, rodent and flying squirrel are part of thewildlife in Mudumalai. It has a rich bird life that includes Malabartrogan, Grey hornbill, crested hawk eagle, crested serpent eagle,.
The best time to visit the reserve is from February to June. .

Travel in the morning from Bangalore to reach the resort by noon.
Check in to the resort and have buffet lunch .
The accommodation is arranged in a resort very close to the waterstream surrounded by greenery all around. After reaching resort
we will freshen up, rest in resort and enjoy scenic beauty around
and have lunch. After Lunch you can depart for trek and come back
and have tea. For those not interested in trek can relax in the resort.
After tea you can check out the water stream near resort. In the
night campfire will be arranged at the resort followed by dinner

Day-2
Early morning you can go for a Wildlife Safari and on way back you
can visit the Masinagudi Elephant Camp. Come back to the resort to
have breakfast and relax. You can explore the resort and use its
facilities and games. 12pm check out from the resort.
