BIBLE STUDY WILL RESUME on Thursday, September 25th from 7:30-9:00pm in the St. Clare School Library. The first 45 minutes will be reading and discussing the upcoming Sunday’s liturgical readings using the “Sunday by Sunday” commentary published by The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. There will be ten minute social break with refreshments. Then there will be faith based study for thirty minutes. We will be using the video series “Catholicism The New Evangelization” by Very Reverend Robert E. Barron and the EWTN series “Reason to Believe” by Dr. Scott Hahn. The bibles and study materials are provided by the Knights of Columbus, Santa Maria Council 4999. For additional information, please call Ed Souza at 626-4847 or Steve Honaker at 284-0277.

SANCTIFY THE SECULAR CULTURE - “There have been great men and women in the recent past who have warned us in advance against the rise of this godless and anti-human period of history in which we find ourselves” (John Vennari). Hilaire Belloc referred to these times as the “post-Christian paganism.” The challenge to the Church is to sanctify the secular culture. WE help do this thorough our prayers, fasting, and visible public presence at the Presidential Women’s Center (100 Northpoint Parkway in West Palm Beach) during the 40 Days for Life (Sept. 24-Nov. 2) Monday-Saturday 7am-6pm or Sundays 3-5pm. Come join the Church rising up for the end of abortion in this country. Sign up NEXT WEEKEND here after all the Masses. www.40daysforlife.com sponsored by FACE Life, Susan 255-1534

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (CCD) -If you didn’t get a chance to sign your child/children up yet, you can still register them on Tuesday evening, September 9th, from 7:00-8:15pm in the school. The classes will begin the following week. If you are new to our program you will need to bring your child’s Baptism certificate with you. Fees are $25.00 for one child, $40.00 for two and $55.00 for three or more. Registration for Confirmation Year 2 will be in October.

EXPOSITION AND ADORATION OF THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT will begin Tuesday, September 16th after the morning Mass and continue all day, with the exception of the evening Mass, and end with Benediction at 8:00PM.

We grow spiritually with each moment we spend with Jesus! Through Adoration, Jesus calls us to a personal relationship (to become His friends and disciples), to “remain in Him” (Divine Intimacy), to “remain in His love”(keep His commandments). Through this “friendship” we are inspired and strengthened to take on life’s challenges, to carry our cross with a new attitude, to become more and more like Jesus.

NEW MINISTRY TO THOSE WHO HAVE SUFFERED DIVORCE: The Office of Marriage and Family Life in partnership with the Cathedral of St. Ignatius is pleased to announce the beginning of a DVD-based and peer led ministry to men and women who have suffered from divorce: The Catholic’s DIVORCE SURVIVAL Guide.
