How to ApplyThe Master of Science in Dietetics program is open to both women and men. For consideration for admission, the following materials must be submitted to constitute a complete application:

• online application for graduate study

• $45 application fee ($100 for international students)

• transcripts from all undergraduate, post-baccalaureate and graduate work

• three letters of recommendation from professionals and/or professors able to comment on your abilities and commitment

• career goals statement

Application Deadlines:• August 1 (for fall semester entry)

offers a Master of Science in Dietetics designed for working professionals to meet individual needs and interests, to strengthen core knowledge, and to enhance practical application skills.

The M.S. in Dietetics program at Mount Mary helped me become more confident in my skills as a clinical dietitian. The thesis component of the program was especially valuable, as it helped me become more competent in designing, implementing and analyzing research. The M.S. in Dietetics is designed for men and women who are working professionals and practitioners. The program allows you to:

• Enroll as a master’s candidate or take individual courses as desired as a part-time or full-time student

• Obtain continuing education credits to maintain your Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) portfolio requirements

• Take advantage of networking opportunities with other RDs in the classes

• Pursue a generalist curriculum or choose an emphasis

• Choose either a thesis or non-thesis option

The Dietetic Internship Program is an accredited, nine and a half-month, full-time program to prepare you to take the Registration Exam for Dietitians. Upon completion of the Dietetic Internship Program, you will have accrued 18 credits of graduate work and can continue your studies to complete the M.S. in Dietetics at Mount Mary.
