To celebrate trance music Mixmag are hosting a series of 12 nights, 1 a month throughout 2013 finishing on new years eve celebrating 20 years of trance.

ConceptIn order to create a stronger link with all the aspects of the campaign and brand, a set of futuristic shapes will be used. A different one will be used for each night / vinyl all with an aesthetic relationship to each other. Also a set colour pallet will be used in different combinations to allow for visual difference but keep brand continuity.

The vinyl is packaged with a double sleeve. The outer sleeve contains the track listing and 20 years of trance branding. The inner sleeve strengthens the limited edition feel, as this is rare for dance music vinyl.

The logo and numbers (90-100) are taken from the front of the sleeve and used on the inner sleeve, printed with a slight tone difference form the rest of the inner sleeve. This leaves a faint impression creating high-end aesthetic again strengthening the vinyl’s limited edition feel.
