PRODUCT DETAILS These copolymers improve the thermal and optical properties of engineering thermoplastics. 4151 is an imide which contains polar groups for increasing melt strength and heat resistance of nylon 6. 4241 is for use in ABS and SAN. 4171 is for polycarbonate and is designed to act as a carrier for pigments and fillers. 4261 is an imide without polar groups for improving the heat resistance of PET.

A range of colour concentrates produced by Holland Colours Apeldoorn, in Holland, are encapsulated in a non-polymeric material which has a melting point of 8OOC. This allows the colour to be released earlier than for a masterbatch facilitating more dispersion time. The colours are designed for PVC. Both organic and inorganic pigments and dyestuffs can be encapsulated by this process, and may be single-pigment types or blends for shade matching. The process yields spherically shaped particles of 0.5 mm diameter.
