SCOPE: This procedure applies to review and subsequent storing and handling of all materials and products. Sl Item Storage guideline Handling guideline 1 Glass Store in a cool and dry area Hold the glass at the bottom surface, use gloves after wash, strictly careful about the corner of the glass. 2 EVA 1. Storage temperature: Not to exceed 32 0 C (90 0 ) 2. Encapsulant materials should be protected from humidity and direct sunlight. Use Gloves. Cover-up the EVA rolls after use. 3 EVA w/Scrim 1. Storage temperature: Not to exceed 32 0 C (90 0 ) 2. Encapsulant materials should be protected from humidity and direct sunlight. Use gloves. Cover-up the roll after use. 4 Back sheet 1. Storage temperature: 5 0 -38 0 C 2. Relative humidity: 25%-80% Use gloves. Cover   up the roll after use. Don’t twist excessive.  5 EPE 1. Storage temperature: 5 0 -38 0 C 2. Relative humidity: 25%-80% Use gloves. Keep the roll covered. Keep the roll horizontal. 6 Junction Box Storage temperature: -40 0 C to +85 0 C Don’t drop from high. Keep away from any fire work. 7 Sealant Storage temp.: Not to exceed 27 0 C (80 0 F) Store in a original un-opened containers in a dry location. The container nozzle should immediate sealed after use. Don’t touch eye if sealant remain in hand. 8 Frames Storage temp.: 21 0 C (70 0 F) Relative humidity: 50% Material should be stored in original packaging in a clean, dry & well ventilated area. Don’t drop from high. Use gloves during handling. 9 Cell Storage Temp.: 20 0 C (68 0 F) Keep cells away from corrosive chemicals or gases. Do not expose cells to the air. Use cells as soon as possible after un packing. Use gloves to handle cell. Don’t keep open any cell. Cells in the process (WIP) should be kept in packet.

PURPOSE:

To ensure that all materials for PV module manufacturing process are stored & handled properly

to confirm the module quality and minimize the overall loss.

8 Frames Storage temp.: 210C (70

Relative humidity: 50%

Material should be stored inoriginal packaging in a clean,

dry & well ventilated area.

Don’t drop from high.Use gloves during handling.

9 Cell Storage Temp.: 200C (680F)

Keep cells away from corrosive

chemicals or gases.

Do not expose cells to the air.Use cells as soon as possible

after un packing.

Use gloves to handle cell. Don’tkeep open any cell.

Cells in the process (WIP) should

be kept in packet.

10 Ribbon Storage Temperature: 5-250C

(59-770F)

Relative humidity: 60% or less.

Keep the roll horizontal.

Follow the instruction during

handling.

11 Flux Storage Temp.: 10-250C

Flux is flammable- store away

from sources of ignition.

Flux container must be closed after

pour.

Use gloves while pouring the flux.

12 Solder wire Keep solder wire in a dryenvironment, away from

corrosive chemicals or gases.

Not any fixed guideline.

13 IPA Storage Temp.: 10-250C

Flux is flammable- store away

from sources of ignition.

IPA container should be labeled as

“IPA”.Keep the container close all time.

14 Glass Cleaner

(Galvex)

Storage temperature is less than

490C

Store in a tightly closed original

container in a dry, cool & wellventilated place.

Container should be closed after

use.

Use gloves during use
