Math-Science Senior Symposium
• Math/Science Senior Performance• Required of all ASFA seniors for graduation
• Participants complete a five chapter project thesis
• Research is presented and judged at an ASFA public symposium• Judges for the symposium are from Southern
Research, University of Alabama, University of Alabama – Birmingham, and other
organizations in the community
• We welcome your presence at this year’s Symposium on April 8, 2021
AP Computer Science Principles
• ASFA is one of 38 high schools and 10 universities in the nation who piloted
the AP Computer Science Principles course from 2013-2016.
• ASFA is also one of a few high schools in Alabama involved in developing
curriculum and delivering training to Alabama teachers through Dr. Jeff Gray’s
CS4ALABAMA Initiative.
