Management gives you up to twenty six additional horsepower during

PTO operation, while saving fuel. Constant Engine Speed Management

Less weight - more performance. Two new four-cylinder models (120

and 130) with a maximum boosted power of 152hp can now be specified.

They offer several advantages including reduced length and weight over

the six-cylinder models. Overall, these two new models are more compact

- providing better manoeuvrability and handling. Less weight means less

compaction and more power available on demand.

Lower impact on the environment and your wallet.

MAXXUM Multicontroller tractors feature common rail technology with four

valves per cylinder and electronic fuel management. Common rail fuel

systems provide excellent fuel economy and smooth running. Emissions

are also low (Stage 3A compliant); the Maxxum benefits both your pocket

and the environment.

Manage more efficiently. Power Management is available on all

MAXXUM Multicontroller tractors and during PTO and transport

applications offers you up to twenty six additional horsepower - further

enhancing their favourable power-to-weight ratio.

Constant Engine Speed Management allows the operator to program

the engine speed when PTO speed must be constant regardless

of load, ensuring smooth implement operation.

Powershuttle gives you the ultimate inmanoeuvrability and the electronic joystick, located in the armrest, offers comfortable control.

Road Mode allows the tractor to be driven just like a car with automatic transmission, with up to ninegears shifted up or down.

Field Mode automatic shifting in three ranges allowsthe transmission to shift up and down to optimiseproductivity for a given engine speed, leaving thedriver free to concentrate on the implement.

The MAXXUM Multicontroller provides you with the level of automation you

need to step your operation up a gear. There is a choice of transmissions

for the range of work you specialise in. Whatever your needs, the

transmission technology is designed to give you higher operating speeds

and greater ease of operation.

Step up a gear with Powershift and Powershuttle. The Powershift

control is integrated into the Multicontroller III on the right-hand armrest

to provide you with smooth, effortless gear changes. The Powershuttle is

also at your finger tips on the Multicontroller III as a button, or as a lever

on the steering column providing smooth handling for loader work and at

the headland.

Always in the right mode. The highly advanced 16 x 16 transmission

features Auto-field and Auto-road modes to automatically shift up and down

the gears to maximise output. Maximising ease of operation still further,

you do not need to use the clutch to move off from a standing start.

50kph or 40kph. All MAXXUM Multicontroller tractors are available with

a 17th gear to let you travel effortlessly along roads at up to 50kph, or at

up to 40kph at reduced engine rpm. The 40kph transmission is designed

for heavy-duty road haulage operations, helping to ensure the lowest

possible fuel consumption. Creep speeds are also available with speeds as

low as 163m/h at rated engine speed.

High performance PTO. 540/540E/1000rpm speeds are standard

for the rear PTO, which is integrated into the tractor’s automation

systems and features progressive starting for high inertia equipment.

Automatic engagement/disengagement is controlled by the movements

of the hitch. External fender-mounted PTO control buttons for improved

operator convenience are standard.

These traction features let you make the most of the engine’s awesome

power by putting power to the ground effectively. Faster and smoother

operation is possible without compromising safety or stressing the

operator. Combined with the tractor’s favourable performance/weight

ratio, these features are designed to deliver maximum traction and

minimum compaction.

Automatic 4WD / Differential lock. Traction Management is available

on all MAXXUM Multicontroller models. With controls to switch between

manual and automatic mode, the operator is able to harness true traction

with both mounted and trailed equipment.

Front axle suspension. Available on all MAXXUM Multicontroller tractors,

electronically-controlled front axle suspension improves ride comfort at the

same time as providing more control. Less pitching is experienced when

travelling at speed with mounted implements, or manoeuvring with a

loader. The six-cylinder models can be specified with a Class Four front

axle for heavier duty applications. At lower speeds, up to 5% more

traction can be gained with a suspended front axle – ideal for ploughing.

Powerful all-wheel braking. Very low pedal effort is needed with these

heavy duty, maintenance-free, oil immersed disc brakes. Front brakes are

fitted to 50kph models for additional braking power. Hydraulic and air brake

systems for trailers are also available.

100% locking differential locks. These maximise the traction that can

be achieved in the most adverse field conditions. They also benefit the

operator in yard conditions by eliminating tyre scrub when differential locks

are not required.

113l/min supply. A high capacity pressure flow compensating,

variable displacement piston pump delivers up to 113l/min through

a power beyond port or up to 95l/min to any single remote valve.

A completely separate hydraulic pump delivers 40l/min to the steering

system so maximum flow is always maintained to the main hydraulic

circuit, even when operating a loader.

EHC draft control. MAXXUM Multicontroller tractors feature

Electronic hitch control (EHC) to automatically adjust the height of the hitch

according to the draft load. The system is virtually self explanatory and

can be set using controls integrated into the right hand fender panel.

Front hitch and PTO. Boost productivity even further by operating

front and rear end implement combinations simultaneously.

MAXXUM Multicontroller tractors are available with Cat II front linkages

and a 1000rpm PTO fully integrated into the tractor with a maximum lift

capacity of 3700kg.

Electronic remote valves. The oil flow rate and time period of valve

operation can be set for each individual remote valve using the

Multicontroller on the right-hand armrest. Two of the valves can be

operated using an electronic joystick integrated into the armrest.

and lumbar support to ensure the operator is always comfortable.

Cab suspension is also available to provide the ultimate in protection

from shock loads.

More management at headlands. Using the Headland Management

Control (HMC) system you can record up to twenty-eight separate moves

to be replayed individually or as a sequence. Linkage position, engine

speed, transmission ratio and electronically controlled remotes can

all be set by finger-tip control.

Integrated instrumentation panel. The display panel and performance

monitor are comfortably located in the operator’s field of vision.

Key component information and data relating to area worked, work rate,

wheel slip percentage and distance travelled are displayed clearly for

at-a-glance reference.

Calm business environment. With a noise level of just 72dB(A),

a MAXXUM Multicontroller cab is one of the quietest and safest “offices

LRX LOADERS

Case IH LRX loader. There is a whole range of buckets, grabs and tools to choose from. Armrest-integrated joystickfor Case IH LRX Loader.

Built specifically for their tractors, Case IH LRX loaders offer

uncompromising performance and quality. They are manufactured to the

highest specifications, using fine-grained, lightweight crane steel. The

loaders are controlled using the joystick that is integrated into the armrest

using existing tractor remote valves.

Loads of tools. A wide range of buckets, grabs and tools is available - you

will find precisely what you need for the work your business specialises in.

Loads of control. The LRX loader is part of the tractor and not a retrofit

as offered by other manufacturers, so the joystick control is integrated
