Dear Family,
Thank you to all who participated in Club Dennis this weekend;
to those who bought a $100 raffle ticket, to those who attended
this fun evening and to the St. Dennis School Grade 7 parents
for hosting this wonderful event. Next week we will post the
winners of the $100 raffle.
I would like to thank all who participated in ―Giving Glory to God‖,
the Restoration Project of our church. This week we will begin replacing the out-
side windows of the stained glass which will take about one month. New carpeting
for the church has been ordered which will be installed soon. We will also continue
painting the rest of the church especially the ceiling in the near future. We are still
in need of funds to complete the project. If you would like to donate please send a
check with ―St. Dennis-Restoration Project‖ to the parish office or pick up a pledge
card in the Narthex. You may make a pledge over a two year period. God bless
you for all of your generosity.

ST. DENNIS FUNDRAISER SUCCESS CONTINUES Now Gas/Electric bills may be paid through Ambit.
Thank you friends of St. Dennis who are participating in our Natural Gas & Electric Fundraising Program through Ambit Energy. Households have seen the savings on monthly statements. St. Dennis is receiving monthly donations averaging $100 now with 90 new enrollments from Ambit which will continue to grow. Dear Parishioners, Please DO NOT PARK in the Reserved Parking spots near the ELC indicated by the signs OR in the Unmarked Area between the garage and the fence near the Rectory and Narthex entrances. This area needs to be completely clear at all times for safety and emergencies. There is no parking allowed going west on 13th street. Parishioners have been ticketed. Please follow the signs. Thank you.

Habitat for Humanity Summer Service Week Clarksdale Mom and Children’s Clinic Project
We are collecting the following items to give to Sr. Manette, CSJ, for patients at the clinic near our Habitat work site:Soap: Dove, Ivory, Dial, child-safe LITTLE toys, toothbrushes, toothpaste, receiving blankets, baby, tod-dler clothes, aspirin, Tylenol antiseptic/antibiotic cream, clean cloth tote bags, coloring books, activity books, Eucerin, Aveeno, (or similar) moisturizing lotion, ra-cially/ethnically sensitive children’s books, PICK UP A LIST from the NARTHEX table! Place your donations in the boxes marked ―CLINIC COLLECTION‖ in the NARTHEX May 12 through June 4. Thank you for your generosity.
Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass
The Diocese of Joliet will hold its Thirty-fourth Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet. If you are celebrating either your 25
th or 50

Club Dennis $100 spring raffle tickets

View catalog and place orders at www.liasophia.com/mdespaltro Holy Hour & Eucharistic Adoration Join us Friday, June 1st for Holy Hour from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. and the great blessing of the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 4:30 pm until 10 pm. The Blessed Sacrament, exposed in the Monstrance, brings Jesus very close to us. All are welcome to come and pray. Holy Hour: On June 10, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, Bishop Conlon has requested each parish to hold a HOLY HOUR FOR RECONCILATION AND RECOMMITMENT with regard to child abuse. This date coincides with the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the ―Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People‖ and provides an opportunity for us to seek the Lord’s help in dealing with a serious, ongoing issue in the Church. ROSARY MINISTRY
If you would like an inspirational gift for a friend or loved one or a 1st Communion or Confirmation gift? Please call anytime, we would be happy to help you. Do you have old rosaries, chaplets, beads or Holy Medals? The beads are used
to make rosaries for those beginning their journey to whole-ness through healing prayer, as well as to encourage peo-ple to pray the rosary. Holy medals are repurposed and provide another avenue of prayer. If you would like to donate the above items, please place them in the basket in narthex or call Kim 815 560-2468 or Mary 815 838-2592 for more info. We also repair rosaries at no charge. Preparation for Sacrament of Baptism:
Your family must be registered ―active‖ members of St. Dennis. Baptismal Prep Mtgs. are divided into two meetings, 4 weeks apart on Saturday’s, 9 - 10:30 am.
Next Preparation classes are June 16th and August 18th. Parents and Godparents are required to attend both classes before a date is set. For more info. and dates, call the Parish Office at 815-838-2592, ext. 123. At least one Godparent must be a confirmed Catholic, active in their faith—a letter of permission is required from their church.
