as well as the usual (fitness andself defence).The L.T.S.I. has always doneour best to provide the bestservice in the U.K., but itappears this is being taken forgranted and some are not seeingthe real value. We could shoutand say you have to attend, butit’s not worth it! We only wantyou to understand the value ofwhat we offer, nothing else.

Seminar with firstGrand Master Rhee Ki Ha, IX Dan

L.T.S.I. receives an open invitation toattend a seminar with Grand MasterRhee Ki Ha, IX Degree.

We were recently asked if we wereinterested in attending an open I.T.F.seminar being held at the SwanscombeCentre, Craylands Lane, Kent, DA10 OLP

Mr. Norris, 4th Degree, of the UnitedKingdom Tae Kwon Do Associationinvited the L.T.S.I. to take part in thisprestigious event.

We understand thatthe event will runon 26th June 2011.Mr. Norris stated hewill forward allinformation in thecoming weeks. Mr.Snow said “Havingsat four of theseevents over theyears, I can confirm that you will all findthis one of the best on offer in the U.K.”The cost is only £20 per person.

Original I.T.F. Magazine endsThe magazine that Mr. Snow has been runningsince 2009 has finally been closed down. Mr.Snow, who is heavily involved in a number ofprojects in the U.K. as well as running his ownclubs, said that he can no longer run themagazine as it was taking him over 80 hours amonth to put together.

World TitlesWe were simply amazed recently at the Puma World Championshipswhen three students from the L.T.S.I. managed to win world titles. Theevent was well attended, with 500 Black Belts taking part over both days.Georgia Milner won a Gold in patternsJade Doran won a Gold in sparringDerek Britten won a Gold in SparringAndrew Smith won a Silver in patternsLauren Snow won a Bronze in sparringJade Doran also won a Bronze in patternsGeorgia Milner also won a Bronze in sparringThe good news is all the above have remained level headed and humble,so one can presume we are doing something right. The importance of interacting.....Black Belts right down to Blue Belts areoffered a great training session every twomonths on a Sunday - for £5, it’s a truebargain, especially as the groups seniorcoaches hold them.

The next session is to be held on Sunday19th June in St. Albans. The time will be10am, so do try your best to take part - younever know, you may enjoy it.

We do pattern and set sparring practiceand learn to use the nunchaku which isbeing taught by Mr. Snow at his schools.

A Gym or a Martial Arts Club?It has to be asked! It seems some think thatthe clubs can be used like gyms, where youdon’t have attend regularly.It really is your choice whether you attendregularly or not, but you will be refusedexaminations by not attending, so take a hintand get back on the floor.

Attending TournamentsFor many years we have attended lots oftournaments, but no one ever gets involvedso we are opening this invite and askingyou all to consider taking part in these greatevents. We only attend the best, so getinvolved today - you may even win like thehundreds that have since our inception!
