Application process
Most applications to universities including the ‘Fast Track’ / ‘Advance Offer’ / ‘Early
Decision’ schemes for very abled students are made between October and March.
Universities have different application timelines so students are strongly advised to check
for the latest information on the university website.
Online application
All the universities use online application which cost between HKD300 and HKD500.
Interviews
Nearly all the universities require interviews which can be in group or individual format.
Sometimes, applicants attend more than one interview for the most competitive courses
such as Global Business. For some technical subjects like Product Design, applicants may be
asked to sit tests in addition to the interview. All applicants should be aware that invitation
to interview can be issued at very short notice so it might not be wise to leave HK during the
school holidays during the application year.
Responding to offers
Universities demand a non-refundable deposit of between HKD10K and HKD20K to secure
an accepted offer.
