Bureau, our Amtrak community is a featured destination in the 2016 ChicagoCubs Yearbook. The 2015 edition sold 300,000 copies with 100,000 digital views.
First State Bank of Illinois has pledged $15,000 and presented their first installment
of $3,000.00 toward the Dolores Kator Switzer Women's Center at McDonoughDistrict Hospital. First State Bank will be recognized as Partner level of the MDH

Jack and Nancy Laverdiere of Laverdiere Construction Inc. presented a check for$10,000 toward the Dolores Kator Switzer Women's Center at McDonough District
Hospital. This meaningful gift was made in memory of Jack's mother VernLaverdiere and Nancy's mother Lillian Archer. Laverdiere Construction will be
recognized as Golden Apple level of the Business Honor Roll giving club; and Jackand Nancy are Platinum level members of the Golden Apple Society.

McDonough District Hospital announces the addition of Eric Reinertson, MD,FACOG; interim Obstetrics/Gynecology physician. For the past 18 years Dr.
Reinertson has been practicing in Pekin, IL. Most recently he was the Director ofOb/Gyn Services with Premier Ob/Gyn (ProHealth Inc.) in Pekin. Dr. Reinertson will
join Dr. Tamara Smith in the MDH Obstetrics & Gynecology Clinic May 2.
Dr. Reinertson joins MDH on an interim basis, not employed by MDH, and will workcollaboratively with Dr. Smith. His interim status will continue while MDH works torecruit another permanent longterm OB/GYN physician. For appointments, call

Macomb native Kassie Courson has recently been named director of fundraisingat Wesley Village. Courson founded VIBE six years ago, and has lead numeroussuccessful fundraising events for several groups in the community. Courson is an
active members of the Bushnell Chamber of Commerce, Macomb AreaChamber of Commerce and the Macomb Centennial Morning Rotary Club.

Tim Rice of TJR Deisgns and the president of Macomb Centenial Morning Rotary
Club was surprised with being named a Paul Harris Fellow on April 21st.
Western Illinois University launched a oneday, online fundraiser known as The
Western Challenge on April 28th. Leathernecks across the country and around theworld rallied to display their generosity to the University and it's students.
