Well done, thy good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Master. Matt. 25:21

These are the words Kathy Mundy heard on May 4, 2018, as she stepped into the arms of her Savior. While we rejoice that she is no longer suffering nor in pain, Kathy is now complete in Christ and rejoicing in the presence of her King. Yet, for those left behind, we grieve with her family and pray that hearts will be filled with hope and comfort by our Lord Jesus Christ. “Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.” Mt. 5:4

We thank the Lord for Kathy Mundy. She was deeply loved by everyone who knew her; she was genuine in her love for others and her Savior, and remained steadfast and faithful to the Lord in her ministry and in her suffering, never complaining, and always recognized her need for Him in all things. She loved and cared deeply for the women who came into the Center and for the unborn; her passion impacted countless lives over the course of her years at Cross-roads. Kathy was a great listener, encourager, counselor, and Director. I will always be grateful for her sweet friend-ship, words of encouragement, advice and especially her prayers for all of us in this ministry.

Kathy left a legacy that will be known for years to come. Like ripples in a body of water, Kathy’s life will continue to impact those who were blessed to have known her. She fulfilled her upward calling and was a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ who lived and loved greatly to share the hope of the Gospel; the truth that life is precious, sacred, and created in the image of God.

We remember Pat, Rachel, Luke and Patrick in our prayers. May the Spirit of the Living God comfort their hearts from the sting that death leaves behind, and fill them with hope of the promise knowing that one day...they will see her again in glory.

“...being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Phil. 1:6

Center Life: “not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;” (Rom. 12:11)

T hursday Night Market Place: We will join vendors at the Main Street Hanford event on Thursday evenings. Our participation will begin June 7 and will continue biweekly through October. If

you’re out and about at the Market Place, please stop by our table. We’d love to see you!

C hanging Babies: Mother’s Day (May 13) ~ Father’s Day (June 17). This is a fun and easy way to sup-port the pregnancy center. Colorful baby bottles will be distributed to supporting churches, then taken

home by individuals or families as “piggy banks” to catch loose change, checks or cash. The bottles can be re-turned to the church on Father’s Day to be collected by CPC, or brought directly to the Center after Father’s Day. A special thank you to FAST Credit Union for allowing us to use their coin counter, again waiving the usage fee. We are very grateful for their kindness.
