At most of the BUs, the inoculation drive covers 95% of the eligible employees. The company is in talks with the approved vaccine manufacturers for procuring vaccines for employees and families. Outsourced business partners and their families will also be covered. The plan to vaccinate 1.11 lakh people, which would include 46,000 employees and family members. Vedanta will spend around Rs 12 crore for the procuring the vaccines, the deliveries of which will start later this month. 24X7 health helpline services for all employees in association with Apollo Hospital. Covid Task force formed to action on any requirement of employee or their family members on a priority basis. All need-based support in terms of medical and healthcare assistance provided to ensure that employee well-being and recovery is prioritized. Free vaccination, testing for employees and their families. Employees of business partners are covered as well. Emergency ambulance services for medical consultation/hospitalization. Provision for isolation, accommodation for Covid positive employees. Paid leave for Covid positive patients. Series of health webinars & awareness programmes organised for employees. ESL has rolled out Covid vaccination drive for those above 45 years in association with District Health Department, Bokaro, Jharkhand. Six Covid Vaccination Camps have been done till date in six villages benefitting 579 people out of the 5,000 targeted at Bokaro. At Lanjigarh, vaccination drive for local communities is on-going from March 15, 2021 in collaboration of Community Health Centre Lanjigarh. The target is to inoculate 1215 people who are above 60 years and as on May 18, 2021, 99% (Achieved/ Target=1204/1215) of people have been received the first dose of vaccination. At Jharsuguda, there are plans for an intensive awareness campaign through dedicated awareness vehicle regarding promoting vaccine and reaching out to the vaccine centre, in addition to adopting three CHC and five PHCs, especially for vaccine drive through district health department and creating awareness among the nearby villages. In, Rajasthan, HZL is working towards creating necessary awareness among community members for promoting vaccination in our operational areas. At Barmer, CAIRN’s CSR team is discussion with the Health department, Barmer district for transportation of people through MHV to reach out to remote areas for vaccination. At TSPL we have vaccinated 1850 employees, families, business partners & their families. Vedanta’ first field hospital at Tau Devi Lal Stadium at Gurugram is ready. Delivering on its commitment to build 1,000 critical care beds to support COVID-19 patients across the country, Vedanta has rolled out this 100-bed speciality hospital which has state-of-the-art oxygen support systems to provide timely medical care. Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar visited the medical facility on Sunday, which will be commissioned soon. The initiative is part of the company’s decision to lead from the front and supplement efforts of the central and state governments in the country’s fight against the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The air-conditioned field hospital at Gurugram has 90 beds with oxygen support and 10 beds with ventilator support for critical patients. Apart from Delhi NCR, the Vedanta Cares Field Hospitals are being rolled out in Rajasthan, Karnataka, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Tamil Nadu. Vedanta posted a strong financial performance for the fourth quarter backed by robust operations across its various businesses- Zinc, Aluminium & Power, Iron ore, Steel and Oil & Gas. Revenue for Q4 FY2021 was at Rs 27,874 crore, higher 24% Q-o-Q & 43% Y-o-Y, primarily due to higher volume at Aluminium business, Zinc India, Iron ore business, higher power sales at TSPL and improved commodity prices. EBITDA for Q4 FY2021 was at ` 9,107 crore, higher 18% Q-o-Q & 88% Y-o-Y. Attributable PAT before exceptional items rose to Rs 7,013 crore. For the financial year 2020-21, Vedanta’s revenues increased to Rs 86,863 crore. EBITDA for the FY2021 was at ` 27,341 crore, higher by 30%, mainly on account of higher volume at Zinc India, Aluminium & Iron Ore business and structural reduction in COP at Aluminium business. EBITDA margin was 36% for the year as against a margin of 29% in FY 2020, while Attributable PAT before exceptional items increased to Rs 12,151 crore. Key Highlights: All time high EBITDA up by 88% to Rs 9,107 crore in Q4 FY21 Attributable PAT (before exceptional items) at Rs 7,013 crore in Q4 FY21 EBITDA up by 30% at Rs 27,341 crore in FY2021 Attributable PAT (before exceptional items) at Rs 12,151 crore in FY2021 Net debt at Rs 24,414 crore on March 31 2021, lower by 32% over Dec 31, 2020 Gross debt at Rs 57,028 crore on March 31 2021, Rs 2,159 crore lower Y-o-Y Net debt to EBITDA at 0.9x; maintained at low level Strong liquidity position with cash and cash equivalent at Rs 32,614 crore Contribution to Exchequer: Rs 35,018 crore Vedanta Sterlite Copper has commenced production of medical oxygen at its facility at Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu and the first batch of 'medical grade oxygen' was dispatched last week. The oxygen supplied is of 98.6 per cent purity and has received the necessary medical-grade certifications. The Sterlite Copper plant has a capacity to produce 1,000 tonnes of oxygen daily. After a brief technical snag developed in the cold box, Sterlite Copper rectified the problem within days and restarted production. The oxygen generated is being stored at the onsite facilities and will be distributed as per directions of the State government and the concerned nodal officers. IOB carries out major upgrade of Blast Furnace, reduces GHG emissions Vedanta Iron ore Business has completed major relining work in Blast furnace (BF) # 3. The BF, which was commissioned in 2012, will now operate with increased efficiency. The relining work started in Dec 2020 and Furnace recommissioned in Feb 2021. Following major works were completed during upgradation: 1. Hot blast stove efficiency improvement by replacing Alumina bricks with Silica bricks. 2. Reduction in heat loss of blast furnace by cooling system improvement 3. GCP efficiency improvement by process optimization. 4. Advancement of automation for better process control (level 2) These major works carried out at IOB has resulted in improved BF performance and an annualized GHG emissions reduction of approximate 83,000 TCO2e. Delhi Airport Uses Taxi Bots For Plane Movement, Saves On Fuel & Carbon Emissions Delhi International Airport is probably the first airport in the world to complete 1,000 movements of planes using automated taxi-bots thereby optimizing plane movement from runway to terminal, saving precious jet fuel and reducing emissions. This practice has helped DIAL save 2,14,000 litres of jet fuel and its associated emissions. DIAL is one of the first airport in the world to deploy such kind of practice. Climate Change Causinng Shift In Earth’s Magnetic pole The latest study by Technical University of Denmark and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, shows that climate change is causing rapid shifting of earth’s magnetic poles. Shifting of poles, also called polar drifting, is not a thing that is happening to our planet for the first time. However, climate change has sped up the process. Climate change is causing our glaciers to melt faster than usual, and the accelerated glacial melting is the main driver of rapid polar drift, found the research. UPDATE ON INDIAN COMPANIES Adani Green Energy has acquired SB Energy India for a fully completed enterprise evaluation (EV) of $3.5 billion, making this the largest acquisition in the renewable energy sector in the country. SB Energy India is a joint venture between the Japan- based SoftBank Group Corp and Bharti Group, which held a stake of 80 per cent and 20 per cent respectively. (NDTV) An unprecedented rally in steel prices has taken the pressure off Tata Steel to explore divestment options for its global manufacturing operations in Europe and Southeast Asia. "Right now, the steel cycle is working in our favour, so our assets in SE Asia and Europe continue to be a part of the family," said T V Narendran, managing director and chief executive officer, Tata Steel. (Business Standard) JSW Steel’s US operations will likely treble in revenue to about a billion dollars, perhaps by the end of FY22, helping the business report positive net income and earnings in the coming quarters, Parth Jindal, the director of JSW Steel USA has said. (Economic Times) Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. will continue paring net debt, and reward shareholders in the ongoing fiscal. The steelmaker expects to bring down its net debt below Rs 10,000 crore by the first quarter of FY23, Managing Director VR Sharma told BloombergQuint in an interview. JSPL has already cut net debt by half over FY20. The company is also looking to divest its Australian coking coal unit by September-October of the ongoing financial year as it continues to focus on the domestic market. (BloombergQuint) Reliance Jio, India’s leading 4G and mobile broadband digital service provider, is constructing the largest international submarine cable system centered on India. Mukesh Ambani led Jio, in conjunction with several key global partners and world- class submarine cable supplier SubCom, is currently deploying two next generation cables to support the extraordinary growth in data demand across the region. (Swarajya) UPDATE ON INTERNATIONAL PEERS Royal Dutch Shell is in talks with the Nigerian government to sell the Anglo-Dutch company's stake in onshore oilfields, CEO Ben van Beurden said on Tuesday. Shell, the operator of the West African country's onshore oil and gas joint venture SPDC, has struggled for years with spills in the Niger Delta as a result of pipeline theft and sabotage as well as operational issues. The spills have led to costly repair operations and high-profile lawsuits. (Reuters) BP and Eni said on Wednesday they had entered into talks to merge their oil and gas operations in Angola to form one of Africa’s largest energy companies. The two companies have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding and are in discussions on a joint venture that will include their liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, they said in a statement. (Reuters) Influential proxy advisor Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) has recommended shareholders back Chevron Corp Chief Executive Michael Wirth for re-election to the company’s board and oppose a proposal to split the CEO-chairman role at the No. 2 U.S. oil producer. (Reuters) Saudi Aramco is co-leading a report on cyber resilience in the oil and gas industry with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and Siemens Energy, the Saudi Arabian state oil giant wrote on Twitter. Aramco added that the report is "a collaboration involving 40 major industry players to shape the future of cyber security in the oil and gas industry". (Reuters) Rio Tinto Group’s South African operation is facing the loss of a large bloc of Black investors, a move that would leave it below the legal minimum for Black ownership, two people familiar with the situation said. The main investors in Blue Horison Investments Ltd., which holds 24% of Rio-controlled titanium producer, Richards Bay Minerals, have told Rio they want to be permitted to sell a stake they value at 5.5 billion rand ($393 million) or have it bought out by RBM, the people said. (Bloomberg) Commodity trader and miner Glencore plans to restart operations at Mutanda - the world's biggest cobalt mine that also produces large amounts of copper - in the Democratic Republic of Congo next year, a source with direct knowledge said. Glencore, one of the world's largest copper producers and leading cobalt producer, said in February that the process to resume production at Mutanda was underway, but did not give a specific date. Vedanta’ first field hospital at Tau Devi Lal Stadium at Gurugram is ready. Delivering on its commitment to build 1,000 critical care beds to support COVID-19 patients across the country, Vedanta has rolled out this 100-bed speciality hospital which has state-of-the-art oxygen support systems to provide timely medical care.

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar visited the medical facility on Sunday, which will be

commissioned soon. The initiative is part of the company’s decision to lead from the front and supplement efforts of the central and state governments in the country’s fight against the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The air-conditioned field hospital at Gurugram has 90 beds with oxygen support and 10 beds with ventilator support for critical patients. Apart from Delhi NCR, the Vedanta Cares Field Hospitals are being rolled out

in Rajasthan, Karnataka, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Tamil Nadu.

Vedanta posted a strong financial performance for the fourth quarter backed by robust operations across its various businesses- Zinc, Aluminium & Power, Iron ore, Steel and Oil & Gas. Revenue for Q4 FY2021 was at Rs 27,874 crore, higher 24% Q-o-Q & 43% Y-o-Y, primarily due to higher volume at Aluminium business, Zinc India, Iron ore business, higher power sales at TSPL and improved commodity prices. EBITDA for Q4 FY2021 was at ` 9,107 crore, higher 18% Q-o-Q & 88% Y-o-Y. Attributable PAT before exceptional items rose to Rs 7,013 crore.

For the financial year 2020-21, Vedanta’s revenues increased to Rs 86,863 crore. EBITDA for the FY2021 was at ` 27,341 crore, higher by 30%, mainly on account of higher volume at Zinc India, Aluminium & Iron Ore business and structural reduction in COP at Aluminium business. EBITDA margin was 36% for the year as against a margin of 29% in FY 2020, while Attributable PAT before exceptional items increased to Rs 12,151 crore.

Vedanta Sterlite Copper has commenced production of medical oxygen at its facility at Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu and the first batch of 'medical grade oxygen' was dispatched last week. The oxygen supplied is of 98.6 per cent purity and has received the necessary medical-grade certifications. The Sterlite Copper plant has a capacity to produce 1,000 tonnes of oxygen daily.

After a brief technical snag developed in the cold box, Sterlite Copper rectified the problem within days and restarted production. The oxygen generated is being stored at the onsite facilities and will be distributed as per directions of the State government and the concerned nodal officers.

IOB carries out major upgrade of Blast Furnace, reduces GHG emissions

Vedanta Iron ore Business has completed major relining work in Blast furnace (BF) # 3. The BF, which was commissioned in 2012, will now operate with increased efficiency. The relining work started in Dec 2020 and Furnace recommissioned in Feb 2021.

Following major works were completed during upgradation:1. Hot blast stove efficiency improvement by replacing Alumina bricks with Silica

bricks.2. Reduction in heat loss of blast furnace by cooling system improvement3. GCP efficiency improvement by process optimization.4. Advancement of automation for better process control (level 2)

These major works carried out at IOB has resulted in improved BF performance and an annualized GHG emissions reduction of approximate 83,000 TCO2e.

Delhi Airport Uses Taxi Bots For Plane Movement, Saves On Fuel & Carbon Emissions

Delhi International Airport is probably the first airport in the world to complete 1,000 movements of planes using automated taxi-bots thereby optimizing plane movement from runway to terminal, saving precious jet fuel and reducing emissions. This practice has helped DIAL save 2,14,000 litres of jet fuel and its associated emissions. DIAL is one of the first airport in the world to deploy such kind of practice.

The latest study by Technical University of Denmark and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, shows that climate change is causing rapid shifting of earth’s magnetic poles. Shifting of poles, also called polar drifting, is not a thing that is happening to our planet for the first time. However, climate change has sped up the process. Climate change is causing our glaciers to melt faster than usual, and the accelerated glacial melting is the main driver of rapid polar drift, found the research.

Adani Green Energy has acquired SB Energy India for a fully completed enterprise evaluation (EV) of $3.5 billion, making this the largest acquisition in the renewable energy sector in the country. An unprecedented rally in steel prices has taken the pressure off Tata Steel to explore divestment options for its global manufacturing operations in Europe and Southeast Asia. "Right now, the steel cycle is working in our favour, so our assets in SE Asia and Europe continue to be a part of the family," said T V Narendran, managing director and chief executive officer, Tata Steel. JSW Steel’s US operations will likely treble in revenue to about a billion dollars, perhaps by the end of FY22, helping the business report positive net income and earnings in the coming quarters, Parth Jindal, the director of JSW Steel USA has said. (Economic Times)

Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. will continue paring net debt, and reward shareholders in the ongoing fiscal. The steelmaker expects to bring down its net debt below Rs 10,000 crore by the first quarter of FY23, Managing Director VR Sharma told BloombergQuint in an interview. JSPL has already cut net debt by half over FY20. The company is also looking to divest its Australian coking coal unit by September-October of the ongoing financial year as it continues to focus on the domestic market. (BloombergQuint)

Royal Dutch Shell is in talks with the Nigerian government to sell the Anglo-Dutch company's stake in onshore oilfields, CEO Ben van Beurden said on Tuesday. Shell, the operator of the West African country's onshore oil and gas joint venture SPDC, has struggled for years with spills in the Niger Delta as a result of pipeline theft and sabotage as well as operational issues. BP and Eni said on Wednesday they had entered into talks to merge their oil and gas operations in Angola to form one of Africa’s largest energy companies. The two companies have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding and are in discussions on a joint venture that will include their liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, they said in a statement. Rio Tinto Group’s South African operation is facing the loss of a large bloc of Black investors, a move that would leave it below the legal minimum for Black ownership, two people familiar with the situation said. The main investors in Blue Horison Investments Ltd., which holds 24% of Rio-controlled titanium producer, Richards Bay Minerals, have told Rio they want to be permitted to sell a stake they value at 5.5 billion rand ($393 million) or have it bought out by RBM, the people said. Commodity trader and miner Glencore plans to restart operations at Mutanda - the world's biggest cobalt mine that also produces large amounts of copper - in the Democratic Republic of Congo next year, a source with direct knowledge said. Glencore, one of the world's largest copper producers and leading cobalt producer, said in February that the process to resume production at Mutanda was underway, but did not give a specific date. Vedanta supplies drinking water to communities in water scarcity areas of Jharsuguda

Vedanta Jharsuguda is supplying drinking water to thousands of Jharsuguda’s residents facing acute shortage of drinking water due to ongoing summer. Last month, the company started daily supply of drinking water to 16 wards of Jharsuguda district marked as water scarcity areas, and will continue to cater to the region’s needs throughout peak summer. Currently, more than 15,000 locals belonging to Kabrastanpada, Talibhata and Itabhata, BTM Nua Sahi, Industrial Estate, Mahuatoli, Badheimunda Rangiapada, Hospital Road, and other wards are getting their daily quota of water through water tankers deployed by Vedanta.

BALCO conducted a special COVID-19 testing campaign for the member of community

From the onset of pandemic, BALCO is taking extensive steps to ensure that the employees, their families and all the other stakeholders are sensitized to respond to COVID-19. To ensure the safety of community members, BALCO has started a special COVID-19 testing drive through a special camp at BALCO Hospital, which provides a focal point for the community to get their test done as earlier they had to go to far off location for doing the same. Hindustan Zinc has introduced the Group Corona Kavach Policy for contract workforce against COVID 19 across locations in Rajasthan. The Group Corona Kavach policy for contract workers has been taken from New India Assurance, Mumbai that covers more than 25800 contract workforces. This cashless policy covers all corona related diagnostic charges including pre-hospitalization and post-hospitalization expenses. The company has also provided COVID Death Policy through Go-Digit

Insurance company for all the contract workers in the case of unfortunate exigency.

HZL has been at the forefront of ensuring the health, be it of its employees or local communities. Hindustan Zinc has joined hands with the local body administration and health department to amplify its efforts for COVID relief. After providing liquid oxygen to the administration for the treatment of COVID patients, the company has to date provided 165 MT+ liquid oxygen, 10 MT oxygen daily and 10000+ oxygen cylinders to the district administration. Rajasthan government has appreciated HZL’s oxygen aid.

HZL’s Rampura Agucha Mine (RAM) Fire & Safety Team received an appreciation from Senior Government Officials for their quick action and emergency preparedness. On 14th May’21 a major fire incident broke out at Cattle Feed Plant – Lambiyakalan at Raila Road– Bhilwara District (A unit of Raj. Coop. Dairy Federation Ltd). The RAM’s Fire & Safety Team received an emergency call and the crew immediately rushed to the site & actively engaged for almost 30 hours. The crew operated with 100KL of water (22 Trips)

along with the Government and other industrial establishments. Senior Government Officials acknowledged the quick turnaround, effective action, and emergency response by the HZL Team.

Hindustan Zinc receives Responsible Silver certification from LBMA

Hindustan Zinc’s silver refinery in pantnagar has received the prestigious Responsible Silver Certification from the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). This recognition is given refineries whose silver bars are tested and found to meet global standard for acceptability in the London Bullion Market. Hindustan Zinc has joined hands with the local body administration and health department to amplify its efforts for COVID relief in 4 key hubs of Rudrapur . The Sanitization van is continuously being used for disinfecting and sanitizing public places alongside spreading mass awareness on proper social distancing, wearing the mask.

On behalf of Vedanta, Mr. Nand Bhatt, Chief Security Officer of VAB, handed over sanitizers and masks to Bicholim Police Station.

Mr.Mahesh G. Gadekar, Police Inspector at Bicholim appreciated Vedanta for this support, which will help the police team to be safe while extending their relentless services to the communities during this unprecedented situation posed due to COVID.

In order to secure the safety of those jeopardizing their lives for the safety of the general public, Vedanta distributed masks, gloves, and sanitizers to CISF Officials and various Primary Health Centres. Further to this packaged mineral water bottles and snacks were provided to Police Officials deployed at the check posts at Amona and Sanquelim during curfew.

VEDANTA’S VAB CONTINUES TO SUPPORT COMMUNITY THROUGH HEALTHCARE INITIATIVES

In line with “Vision for All” program of Goa Government, in order to reduce chances of blindness among the people, Vedanta, Value Added Business (VAB) provided spectacles to 89 people with vision difficulties and in need of vision correction from Amona village. The spectacles were provided to the villagers tested and detected during the free eye check up camp at the village.

Mr. Milind Barve, Chief CSR/ ER PR of Vedanta, VAB along with the Community Medical Center Staff of Amona handed over spectacles to the identified needy people. Beneficiaries applauded Vedanta for continuous healthcare support through special health camps, Community Health centres and for providing assistance through distribution of spectacles.

Technical ACT Up

Cairn Oil and Gas ran their first two batches of assessment centres under Vedanta’s initiative Technical Act Up to identify and develop 33 Technical Stars from six technological disciplines - Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Drilling Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, and Petrophysics. A total of 59 Band 1 employees had the opportunity to undergo a robust and interactive evaluation process in order to nurture and unleash their talents, empowering them to chart their own growth path. These Technical Stars will help build a strong leadership pipeline contributing to Cairn and Vedanta’s growth journey.

Kick-off : Drone Based Over Head Line Inspections

Cairn Oil and Gas took another step forward in their digital journey with the kick-off of drone based Over Head Lines (OHL) inspections. This initiative to conduct inspection and GIS mapping of powerline through drones for identification of potential failures and predictive maintenance will improve availability and reliability of powerlines. This Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) based visual and thermal inspection of the transmission lines is a part of the asset reliability and digitalization initiatives Cairn has commenced through our vendor partner M/s Detect Technologies indigenous autonomous industrial grade UAV – Noctua.

RJ Oil Wins Awards at 34th Mines Safety Week 2020-21

Mangala Oil & Gas Mines and Aishwarya Oil & Gas Mines successfully emerged as the ‘winner’ with three coveted awards during the 34th Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) National Safety Week ceremony organised under the aegis of DGMS, Ajmer region, and hosted by M/s Nuvoco Jodhpur. Mangala Processing Terminal (MPT) won two prizes - ‘First Prize’ in the category Overall Performance Category & ‘Second Prize’ in the category Statutory Records. Aishwarya Oil & Gas Mines has won the ‘Third Prize’ in the category of Statutory Records.

Webinars for capacity building of adolescent girls in Rajasthan

Under the Nand Ghar project, more than 500 adolescent girls are being engaged on regular basis. This pool of young, informed resources acts as a change agent in the community. In order to continue our engagement with them during this pandemic phase, a series of webinar was launched on 14th May’21. This informative series will be continued for 14 weeks, where different topics per week would be delivered by subject experts.

For the first session on “Covid awareness and preparedness among rural villagers”, more than 155 adolescent Girls from 33 different villages participated. The session was delivered by Ms. Harmeet Sehra, head

CSR who informed about the current situations, the dos and don’ts during this phase and Cairn’s endeavour to support government efforts to fight this pandemic. The session was participatory in nature where these girls shared their fears and related myths were discussed.

Specialized Veterinary Health Camp

A specialists Veterinary Health camp was organized at Gomi Nadi Gaushala, which is newly established near to our RGT asset, in Gudamalani area. More than 350 cattle (cows and bulls) were available within the primacies and most of the animals were severely affected with diseases like urine infection, eye flue, malnutrition, bones and joint deformities, stomach alignments etc. Cairn supported mobile veterinary van along with medical officer and peravet team provided specialized treatment to more than 70 cattle where medicines were administered through injectables.

In addition to the treatment provided, counselling session was also organized on importance of balanced diet and overall management to Gaushala management committee. De- worming and multivitamins were also provided to more than 300 animals.

Online training modules on behavioural change - Ghar Bethe Gyan Ganga initiative in Gujarat

Our education program running in 33 government schools of Gujarat across our pipeline section initiated a ‘learn from home’ campaign of students. Using social media tools and sharing of materials, instructive videos and tests using email-based drives, learning is continuing for over 1350 students. One of the key outcomes of this initiative is to bring about behavioural change among students, for which various soft skill and leadership modules have been developed. Under the behavioural change initiative last week online sessions on “Importance of being honest and no stealing” was the topic of discussion. 43 students participated and shared various anecdotes and experience which made learning interactive.

Capacity building training on Systematic Rice Intensifications (SRI) in Assam

In order to help farmers, increase their crop productivity, a two days capacity building training was planned on SRI. Rice being a staple food in the Northeast India, this training was welcomed by all. Keeping in view the safety precautions for Covid pandemic, small group trainings were imparted. 36 farmers (mostly women) across 4 villages (Baloma, Rajoi, Umabari, Lakhibari) actively participated in this session held on 10th & 11th of May’21.
