Help Keep Your Neighborhood Strong! 2015 DeWeese Ridgecrest Civic Association
Membership Dues Can Be Paid Now
The DeWeese Ridgecrest Civic Association (DRCA) is collecting membership dues for 2015. Dues are only $10 a household. We also offer neighborhood news email updates.
Please help us continue to provide these important services by completing this membership form, bringing it to a neighborhood association meeting, or mailing it with your dues to:
Becky Drewing, DRCA Treasurer 2727 Lindale Avenue Dayton, OH 45414

The DeWeese Ridgecrest Art in the Garden Affaire will be held Saturday, June 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 2919 Ensley Avenue.
The annual Art in the Garden Affaire is an outdoor event showcasing local artists in a tree-lined, park-like setting along the Stillwater River. The fair started as a complement to the 2014 biennial garden tour that takes place in our lovely, long established neighborhood. It sprang from a community’s love of art, an appreciation of the outdoors, and pride in both the neighborhood
Get the Facts: Replacing the Keowee Street Bridge The Montgomery County Engineer’s Office is proposing to replace the Keowee Street bridge over the Great Miami River. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2018. An initial public information meeting was held in January to describe the project, show expected detour routes, and present multiple aesthetic design alternatives.
You are invited to a follow-up public information meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center, 1000 N. Keowee Street (the entrance is off Webster Street).
A presentation of the preliminary design selected as the preferred alternative will be given, as well as summaries of the public input received from the first meeting and conclusions from subsequent engineering, architectural design, and cost estimating efforts. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide verbal and written comments regarding the project in general, as well as on the design of the selected replacement structure.
If you have questions prior to the meeting, please contact Rick Splawinski of the Montgomery County Engineer’s
Office at 937-496-7734 or [email protected].
