MICAH 6:8 MINISTRY

Did You Know... that the Mississippi Attorney General argued in a federal appeals court recently in favor of a Mississippi law that helps protect women? It requires abortionists to have admitting privileges at a local hospital. “Women deserve real doctors, not transient abortionists who have no connection to their patients or their communities,” said Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Counsel Steven Aden, who was at the hearing. Gov. Phil Bryant signed the law in 2012. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the state’s sole abortion seller, filed suit shortly after. The facility, located in Jackson, claims the law was enacted with the “unconstitutional purpose” to reduce the number of abortions.
