We would like to use this opportunity to introduce our Riders and Volunteers to the many faces of the children and families we honor. These are only but a few of the many photo buttons that are prepared for Ride day. You will find one in your bag. The faces in the crowd, dressed in teal colored shirts, are the family members of these children. They will be at the school stops, engaging with the children, and looking for you to express their appreciation for all that you do to make this a successful event. They are in awe of all the long hours that you devote to the mission, as a volunteer, a rider, or both, to bring them HOPE and the knowledge that we will NEVER stopping looking for their missing child.

A Message for Our Volunteers

Hello Volunteers!!!

There is a mandatory meeting scheduled for all volunteers on May 15 at 6:00 PM in Room 116 of the MVCC Alum-ni College Center. This will be an informative meeting for all volunteers, and it is important to attend as we will have information to pass on to you concerning the day of the Ride. There are some new changes to pass on and you will be meeting with your respective Committee Members to discuss what you will be doing on the day of the Ride. If you cannot attend this mandatory meeting, please e-mail me at [email protected].

There is a new volunteer badge for this year’s Ride. You will not be required to have your picture taken as you will getting a new badge printed by the fine folks at the Boilermaker. This new badge will be used along with your driver’s li-cense for identification. You will not be allowed to participate on the day of the Ride without your 2019 volunteer badge. You will receive your new badge when you pick up your volunteer bags on May 29 at MVCC Alumni Center, Room 116.

CLARIFICATION on Volunteer Badges: If you will be volunteering to assist at orientation rides or at the closing ceremo-nies you will not need a volunteer badge. Volunteer badges with a driver’s license are for those who volunteer on the Day of the Ride and will be participating at Troop D, Oneida and at the school sites throughout the day of the Ride.

If you have a conflict with this date and time, please email: Diane Cromp - [email protected]

We would like to thank all our volunteers for being such an integral part of our Mission:

“Making Our Children Safer... ...One Child at a Time” b
