Where in the world is Kupka’s Piano? Warren Miller will take you into the Flow State… where the mountain meets the mind.

Following their sell-out performance in March, new Brisbane ensemble Kupka’s Piano return for the second event in their 2013 Peripatetic Four-Concert Series. Kupka’s Piano are taking a series of musical expeditions this year, seeking out exciting composers of

younger generations from around the world and linking them to Australian works new, celebrated or obscure.

Giants behind us sees Kupka’s Piano turn their gaze towards German music and its discontents.

The Flow State is a place of such singular focus and connection with the environment that, here, the faster you ride, the slower time passes. Enter the Flow State with host Jonny Moseley and other world-class athletes like

Colby West, Jess McMillan and David Wise as they throw down some of the most impressive action that Warren Miller Entertainment has ever captured.

What makes a man a man?

Sons of Sin, The Danger Ensemble’s most provocative production to date, brutally lays bare just what it is to be a man these days. Featuring a bold, fearless young male cast and live-mixed music from the UK’s Henry Collins, Sons of Sin places the audience in the belly of the beast and opens up the heart of manhood in crisis.

Part confessional, part music festival, a sporting match, a drinking game, a punch in the balls and a whole lot of testosterone.

An audacious new production from the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts.

Enter the faded velvet, smoke-and-mirrors world of the Blaque Bordello, a private and explosive environment of secret trysts, simmering jealousies and stark realities. You can have whatever you desire…if you pay the price.

Experience the stunning ACPA Dance majors in full flight, joined by Brian Lucas and special musical guest ACPA alumni Jonathan Jeffrey as they strip bare the facade of the Blaque Bordello.

Step into the Salōn, immerse yourself in the bohemian divine…

Inspired by the decadence of the Salōn in eras gone by, this premiere production invites you to attend an evening unlike any other.

The hostess welcomes you as other guests arrive. Some are shy, others less so. Indulge in a spectacle of physical feats and soaring live vocals. As the exhibitionists compete to be the life of the party, you notice something simmering beneath those sweet smiles…

Created by Timothy Brown (Queensland Ballet, Expressions Dance Company) in collaboration with seven remarkable physical, circus and dance performers, plus pop-art oracles Michelle Xen and the Neon Wild, Salōn is a must-see show for fans of the exotic, the erotic, the sublime and the exquisite.

A woman, a bath. Three of Australia’s finest circus birds will have you caught in a coop of the chaotic, comical and out-right absurd.

Returning home from a glamorous social event, Maureen puts on a record and pours another drink. As she takes her evening bath, Maureen shares the intimacy of her private moments, seductive nature and deepest anxieties.

A strikingly beautiful devised performance set to a soundtrack of 1940s big band, jazz and French electro-pop, you won’t soon forget your quiet night at home with Maureen O’Hara.

Directed and performed by Belinda Locke

Feathers fly in a fight-flight-freeze free-for-all that will surprise, shock and sweeten your senses.

A strong repertoire of stunning physicality shares the nest with enchanting theatrical performances that will have you in awe of this rare breed of performer.

Quirky, endearing, humorous and beautiful, this work is the premiere show from new Australian circus ensemble 3 is a Crowd.

Audiences will be in a spin over this unique urban circus experience!

Exploring rotation in all its forms, the 360 ALLSTARS national tour brings together internationally-renowned dancers, musicians and athletes for a phenomenal performance turning the notion of ‘the circus’ on its head.

Acrobats are flipped for champion breakdancers, the juggler gets dunked by a basketball freestyler, the unicyclist is rolled by a BMX gold medallist, while a Roue Cyr artist and master musicians of live looping round it all off.
