Mini Relay for Life On May 17, 2013, our Panther Family hosted our very own Mini Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society of Sunrise. Our students raised about $1500.00 for this relay event. Prior to this event teachers discussed with students why this relay event is important. Students got an opportunity to participate in a fun filled event while bringing awareness to all students, parents and the community. All funds were donated to the American Cancer Society. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible.

Career DayStudents had a day to learn from experts. Village’s Annual Career Fair was held on May 22, 2013. Professionals volunteered their time to share what it takes to become a professional in their respective fields. The students had and opportunity to learn from firemen, police (K-9 & SWAT Units), barbers, cosmetologist, nurses and much more. Our very own Mayor Michael Ryan, the Mayor of Sunrise stopped by to share his career experiences with our students.
