Volunteer Hours

The question has been asked….Do my hours really matter? Does anyone “check”? The answer is, YES! Volunteer hours matter very much when we apply for grants, gifts or loans. Philanthropic companies and lenders want to know about parent involvement… what is their investment?” There is an actual dollar value attached to the number of hours served which helps boost the school’s “credit rating.” Volunteer hours matter very much as it is an act of Service. Tuition accounts need to be current for students to be eligible to take finals the first week of June. Please call

the business office with information regarding tuition accounts that are past due.

In processing tuition contracts for the 2014-2015 school year we remind those filing for financial aid to complete the process ASAP. (deadline was April 30) Applications submitted in the next few days will still be considered in this first round. Awards will be made in early June. The next round of awards will be announced in August. Pastor discount, Christian school discount, and Academic discount applicants are due now, as well. If you haven’t completed these applications please do so immediately.

If you will be using the bus program next year please complete the bus contract that is found online: http://www.bchs.net/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=116616&type=d&pREC_ID=558841 and send to the business office as soon as possible; deadline is June 30.

We need all completed financial aid applications, tuition, and bus contracts in so we can process tuition agreement contracts accurately. We thank you for returning them to the business office ASAP.

box on the front desk for ease in collecting them. Be sure to pick up one for you…and your family and friends. They will be happy to save them for you! You all have been doing an incredible job…the cereal box was full to overflowing several times this year!! We received a check for $151.00 in April. We have just submitted the October accumulation. Thank you to all who faithfully participate and to Mrs. Lozada who coordinates this for us!

The PFC is now offering a special “Birthday Party” package. Actually, you can celebrate

any event you like…braces off, an “A” on a test, passing the driver’s license

exam…whatever! $40 will provide for a decorated locker door complete with balloons,

a “Happy Birthday (name)” or “Congratulations” sign on the main bulletin board in the mall and a dozen cupcakes to

Chemistry 2014 Summer Course

Meets one year of high school graduation requirements and satisfies one year of a-g college entrance requirements.

Class size firmly limited to 20 students (minimum of 5 students with a preferred class size of 10 students).

Available to any 10th-12th grade student who has passed Algebra 1 with a C or better.

Small personalized class size with no other classes occurring at this time.

Required Attendance A maximum of one absence allowed per each 4 weeks (semester) and

all missed work must be completed. If you miss more than allowable absences you must drop the class for that semester (non-refundable withdraw).

Cost $1200 for full year course or $600 for 1 semester make-up Payment in full due by June 3rd
