May 2020 Personal Note Shalom from Las Vegas! The Hill family and ministry are still thriving and moving forward in the Lord COVID-19 or no COVID-19! Our first picture is of our whole family during a hike up to Mt. Charleston on Mother’s Day. Rich planned a surprise visit from Rebekah and her boyfriend David (courting for marriage). Oanh was a very happy “mama” that weekend! If you remember, Rebekah is living in San Diego and training for the USA Olympic Team for Archery. As you can see from the picture, all of our kids have grown up! What happened? Many of you, our supporters, have seen them grow up over the last 20 years. We are blessed to have 3 wonderful children. Please pray for the Lord’s blessings on the Hill family. The back picture is of Mt. Charleston. We wanted you to know that there is some beauty still left in Las Vegas! We still have snow up there on Mother’s Day, and that’s where folks go skiing in the winter. “Hazel” As you may know, Oanh and her dance team, “The Simcha (Joy) Dancers,” bring just that—Joy!—to all the folks in the convalescent homes! The picture on the back page shows about 25 in attendance. So the ladies dance to Messianic Jewish worship songs, and Oanh shares the Gospel. Many folks have received Yeshua (Jesus), but we wanted to share about “Hazel.” After the dance, we have time to sit and chat with anyone who wants to talk, and Hazel had a lot of questions about Jesus since she is Jewish. Oanh went through the Scriptures revealing that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah, and after 2 visits, Hazel placed her trust in Yeshua as her Messiah! She requested a siddur, which is a Jewish prayer book. So we got her a Messianic siddur that glorifies Jesus! Thank God we were able to do that quickly for her because that’s when the coronavirus hit. As you know, all the convalescent homes were shut down just like the rest of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, right when we were planning to do baptisms, the plague hit and shut everything down. Now we just have to wait and be patient for the opening up of our city. Please pray for protection and blessings for Hazel and all the elderly that have received Jesus. Personal Note

Shalom from Las Vegas! Rich’s ReporterMinistry Update

troubling times! Truly, without your help we could not be missionaries, so once again todah (thanks)! Once the first incident of COVID-19 was reported in a casino, the governor quickly shut down all of Las Vegas and the whole state of Nevada. Shortly after the shut down, we started praying to the Lord how we could evangelize in such a state. The Lord put it on our hearts to start walking around the neighborhood for exercise. So, we have been walking almost every day since, and have run into a lot of Jewish and Gentile people. We found “Bella” sitting on one of the big boulders by the side of the road resting, said “hello” and the conversation took off. We both were able to share the Good News of Jesus with her, and she received Him right there by the side of the road! Bella has a great desire to attend Beth Yeshua as well. But again, we have to be patient for the lockdown to end. Please pray for Bella’s sanctification and God’s blessing upon her!

Ministry Update Since the shutdown, our evangelism ministry has decreased dramatically. Although we are meeting Jewish and Gentile folks, and are sharing Yeshua with some, it is not nearly as much as before! Speaking in churches was shut down with the lockdown, so all of our scheduled church meetings were canceled. Even our trip to Japan was canceled; however, we have rescheduled to go back in 2021! Some good news though: Rich has been a guest speaker on some radio shows sharing about his newest book, Israel in Prophecy. Rich also was asked to share his testimony for Mike Lindell’s new ministry (he’s the My Pillow guy!). He’s creating a website of video testimonies to reach people around the world with the Gospel. Please pray the Lord’s blessings on our ministry & this new outreach!

Salvation Update

Since our last issue of Rich’s Reporter, 8 people (including 1 Jewish person) received Jesus as their Lord and Savior through our ministry. In 20 years of ministry in Las Vegas as CJFM missionaries, we have

led a total of 1,276 souls (including 68 Jewish people) to the Lord. We praise the Lord for using us to His Glory!

Please Pray for . . . • More churches and individuals to

partner with us. • God to continue to open more

doors for our outreaches: Beth Yeshua, UNLV, the malls, speaking in churches, referrals, and the dance team in convalescent homes.

• God to open the door for our own place to worship in Summerlin, Nevada.

Thanks from the Hill’s You are greatly appreciated! Without your prayers and financial support, we would be unable to continue as missionaries to the 80,000 Jewish people living in Las Vegas. We praise God for you, and thank you for your love and commitment.

If our ministry has blessed you, then please consider joining us as consistent financial partners. We need your help! Thank you and may the Lord continue to bless you with His promise: “I will bless those who bless you” (Gen. 12:3).

As the Lord leads, please use the enclosed envelope and send all future financial gifts preferenced for Richard and Oanh Hill to:
