NORTH SICHUAN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

North Sichuan Medical University is a government-run college of medicine in Sichuan Province and is in the second

largest higher education center of Sichuan Province — Nanchong, a famous city, the origin of the Three Kingdoms

Culture. Its two campuses occupy an area of over 823,693 square meters.

Founded in 1951 as North Sichuan School of Medicine (southwest region of China), the school was renamed North

Sichuan Medical College in 1985

Its library has over 930,000 books and has subscribed to more than 1,567 Chinese, English and foreign periodicals in

addition to over 17,000 electronic periodicals both in Chinese and foreign languages.

The college has first-class clinical training center; an advanced multimedia courseware making system; and a 1000m-

China Medical University (CMU) was established as China Medical College on June 6, 1958 and transformed itself into

JIANGSU UNIVERSITY (JSU)

Jiangsu University (JSU) is ranked among the top 100 universities out of over 2,000 higher educational institutions in

China. JSU is one of the oldest educational institutions in China, and its origin can be traced back to 1902 when it was

first established as Sanjiang Normal College. JSU was then founded out of the initial college by combining the former

Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (a national key university), Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang

Teachers' College with approval from the Ministry of Education, China in August, 2001.

ANHUI MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (AMU)

Anhui Medical University is a provincial key university jointly built by Anhui Provincial Government, the National

Health and Family Planning Commission and the Ministry of Education.

Its predecessor is Private Southeast Medical University founded in Shanghai in 1926. In 1930, it changed the name

into Southeast Medical College. At the end of 1949, it moved to Huaiyuan Anhui Province and became the first

higher medical education institution in Anhui Province. In 1952, it was relocated in Hefei and changed its name to

Anhui Medical College. In 1985, its name was finally changed into Anhui Medical University.

In the University, there are 11,486 full-time regular undergraduates, 3,813 full-time graduates, 407 international

students, and 17,721 adult students of university or junior college level (amateur). The University has a staff of 9,614

people, including 1,207 in-service faculty members at the university headquarters (the campus of Meishan Road

Hubei University of Medicine (HUM) is located in the center of Shiyan, the Motor City, in Hubei Province, People's

Republic of China. HUM was founded in 1965. In 1996, it was among the first to pass the National Undergraduate

Teaching Quality Assessment (TQA) accreditation organized by the State Education Commission. In 2006, it was

established in 1901, was the second national university in China, only after the Imperial University of Peking.

FUJIAN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (FMU)

Fujian Medical University (FMU), located in Fuzhou, the capital city of Fujian Province, serves as a center for teaching,

research, treatment, and prevention, and provides other social services.Currently FMU has two campuses in Shangjie

and Taijiang, with a total land area of about 87 hectares and a building area of 379,000 square meters.

At present, the university comprises 19 schools and departments, which offer 23 undergraduate programs, 22

doctorate programs, 59 master programs, and 2 authorized master degree specialties. In addition to its extensive

academic programs, the University has established an efficient clinical teaching and practice network, composed of 1

stomatological hospital, 26 clinical teaching hospitals and 10 affiliated hospitals, of which 9 are ranked among the first-

rank hospitals. In 2003 it was designated by Fujian Provincial Government as the university for key construction and

There are separate facilities for Boys and girls. Well-appointed hostels with fully furnished, air-conditioned rooms

NANJING MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (NMU)

Nanjing Medical University was founded in 1934 as Jiangsu Provincial College of Health Policy and Management. In the

year of 1957, it moved from Zhenjiang to Nanjing and changed its name to Nanjing Medical College. In 1962, it became

one of the first groups of medical colleges in China to offer six-year medical programs, and in 1981, it was approved to

award master and doctoral degrees.In 1993, it was renamed as Nanjing Medical University and is one of the key

universities sponsored by Jiangsu Province. In September 2015, NMU has been approved to be one of the first groups

of medical universities which are co-sponsored by the Ministry of Education, National Health and Family Planning

Commission of the People's Republic of China and Jiangsu Provincial People's government

The university has twenty undergraduate programs and three “5+3” integrated programs (undergraduate +

postgraduate). Currently it has more than 13,000 students. The university has formed a comprehensive and multi-
