Step 1: Clear your Firearm - Check the chamber, bolt face and magazine well.

Step 2: Gather Parts and Tools Needed

1. SKS Trigger Spring Kit2. 3/32” punch3. ⅛” punch 4. Small Hammer5. Large Hammer6. Block of wood with hole7. Eye Protection

Step 3: Rotate take down latch 90 degrees. Push in on receiver cover. Pull out on take down latch.

Step 4: Pull up and out on the receiver cover. Then set aside.

Step 5: Remove recoil spring. Set aside.

Step 6: Pull back on the bolt carrier. Then pull up and out. Continue by removing the bolt.

Step 7: Focus on the Trigger Assembly. Put your safety on safe. Use your block of wood and place like so.

Place the 3/32” punch into the hole behind the trigger guard. Use the larger hammer and give the punch a good whack to hit the button. Remove trigger assembly and set aside rest of weapon.

Step 8: Place Hinge Pin over the hole in the wood. Use the 3/32” punch and hammer to tap out the Hinge Pin.

Step 9: Remove Magazine latch and spring. Step 10: Remove the Magazine Spring from the Magazine Latch.

Step 11: Using the M*CARBO Spring, place it onto the Guide rod on the Magazine Latch.

Step 12: Reinsert Magazine Latch into the trigger Assembly.

Step 13: Compress Magazine Latch and insert Hinge pin back into place using hammer. Make sure hinge pin is even on both sides.

Step 14: Place the SKS on the block of wood. Insert the disconnector into the whole and slide the rest of the trigger assembly into place.

Step 15: Make sure safety is on. Push down on trigger assembly so that the Trigger Guard button will lock into place.

Step 16: Position weapon upright.

Put bolt release and bolt together. Insert unit back in, down, and the forward.

Step 17: Insert waving side of the recoil spring first.

Step 18: Take Receiver cover and capture the back of the recoil spring. Push forward on the Receiver Cover.

Push in the takedown pin and lock it down.

Step 19: The last step is a function test. To make sure your rifle is in good working order. Place weapon on safe, pull the trigger. Then place on fire and feel the difference.
