Thechildrentoreturnedbacktoschoolfromagoodsummerbreakonthe4th
ofSeptember.Were
happythechildrenadvancedtothenextgrades-Francisfromclasssixtoformone,Maryfromclass
fivetosix,GeorginaandSusanafromclassthreetofour,Mosesfromclasstwotothree,Danieland
Antoinettefromclassonetotwo,AmafromNursery2toKG1.Congratulationstoallourchildren!
AdditionallyAbelandPapaJralsostartedschool.AbelstartedinformtwoandPapaJrstartedin
nursery.InitiallyAbelwasintimidatedbuthehasadjustedandbuilthisconfidenceup.Hesenjoying
hisclassesandhaspromisedtoworkhardtocatchupwithhisclassandrisetobeoneofthebest
students.Papaisalsodoingwellinhisnewclass.Naturallyhehadtogothroughatransitionphase
asitwashisfirsttimeatschool.However,hehaswarmeduptotheotherchildreninhisclassandall
his teachers. His new nickname is I want more because he always
asks his teachers for more
snackswheneverheisdonewithhisinitialamount.Histeacherslovehavinghiminclass.
Kweku isalso inhissecondyear inNursingSchool.Classesare
goingwell for him. Aspart ofhis
curriculum,hisclassvisitsdeprivedregionsinGhanatoprovidemedicalassistanceandhealthadvice
tothe people. Theyalsoprovide free medical screeningandfirstaid
toany sick people inthese
regions.
BackathomewehavehirednewScienceandTwi(Ghanaianlanguage)after-schooltutors.

2.0BIRTHDAYS
AbelandMosescelebratedtheir20th
and11th
birthdaysthismonthonthe17th
and18th
respectively.
ThefamilyorganizedabigpartytothanktheLord.Wesangahappybirthdaysongandprayedwith
them. They also had gifts from family and friends.
They promised the whole house to work hard
academically to bring joy to the family. Moses
promised to be a good boy and always obey
instructions from elderly people. He was also
determined to move a step ahead of his current
positioninclassthisterm
3.0DONATIONS
Thehousereceiveddonationsoffoodandsupplies
from the Tema community 11 morning devotion
group.. The children were amazed and expressed
their gratitude to them. We continue to receive
donations from our friends around the world and
wereverygrateful.
