    Mathematics A Level- OCR (MEI)

    What do you need to studyA Level mathematics?

    A good grade at GCSE, having studied at higher tier.Students will need A or A* grade at GCSE.(In exceptional circumstances we may accept a grade B).

    Course Content

    In year 12 three modules are studied:

    Core 1 (C1) Pure Mathematics 1(including Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry)

    Core 2 (C2) Pure Mathematics 2

    Statistics 1 (S1)

    C1 exam is normally sat in January o year 12 with C2and S1 ollowing in June o year 12.

    In year 13 three more modules are studied:

    Core 3 (C3) Pure Mathematics 3

    Core 4 (C4) Pure Mathematics 4

    Mechanics 1 (M1)

    C3 exam is normally sat in January o year 12with C4 and M1 ollowing in June o year 13.

    Biology A Level- OCR
