Measurement of physical quantitiesभौतिक मात्रा का मापन SI System

•This system contains seven fundamental units and two supplementary fundamental units. The SI units are used in all physical measurements, for both the base quantities and the derived quantities obtained from them. Certain derived units are expressed by means of SI units of special names such as joule, Newton, watt etc.•SI प्रणाली इस प्रणाली में सात मूलभूत इकाइयााँ और दो पूरक मूलभूत इकाइयााँ शाममल हैं। SI इकाइयों का उपयोग सभी भौततक मापों में ककया जाता है, आधार मात्रा और उनसे प्राप्त मात्रा दोनों के मलए। कुछ व्युत्पन्न इकाइयााँ जूल, न्यूटन, वाट आदद जैसे ववशेष नामों की SI इकाइयों के माध्यम से व्यक्त की जाती है|

CGS System:- the unit of length is centimeter, the unit of mass is gram and the unit

of time is second. लबंाई की इकाई सेंटीमीटर है, द्रव्यमान की इकाई ग्राम है और समय की इकाई सेकेण्ड है।

FPS System: -the unit of length is foot, the unit of mass is pound and the unit of time

is second.लबंाई की इकाई फुट है, द्रव्यमान की इकाई पाउंड है और समय की इकाई सेकेण्ड है।

MKS System: -the unit of length is metre, the unit of mass is kilogram and the unit of

time is second./लबंाई की इकाई मीटर है, द्रव्यमान की इकाई ककलोग्राम है और समय की इकाई सेकेण्ड है।

Vectors and Scalar Quantities/सददश और अददश रामशयााँ:

Vector is a quantity which has both magnitude and direction. For examples: Force, acceleration etc.वेक्टर रामशया-ं जजसमें पररमाण और ददशा दोनों हैं। उदाहरण के मलए: बल, त्वरण आदद।

Scalar is quantity with which has only magnitude, direction is not associated. For examples: Mass, temperature, time etc.अददश रामशयााँ –वे रामशयााँ जजसमे केवल पररमाण होता है ददशा नहीं होती है|
